Manet, Monet, and, of course Gaughin with all those bare-chested women. Just kidding. I've been to the Dali Museum in St. Pete's and although I consider him a genius, his art work is a little beyond me. But I hardly connoisseur of fine art.

I even bought this:

It was free cause of my accumulated geek-points from www.thinkgeek.com! It hangs off of my TV stand, I love it!

Peter Maxx is pretty good contemporary artist .
And being a fan of Yes , Asia , and Uriah Heep gave exposure to the work of Roger Dean . Always loved his space landscapes .

I'm pretty much down with the Impressionists and Surrealists.
However, on a recent trip to the old country, I was really impressed with the old Dutch Masters. They were so much more advanced in terms of technology than the rest of the Europeans from that period... knew how to capture color and light like none other.
