Dear Ambassador of KC-ECCIE, what is the point of posting this again if no one wants to listen? Do you think people have time to read such a long and lengthy posts?. You are just going on by the number of 'hits' to the thread, ask how many of those hits read (read and more importantly understood) the complete 'bible' type of posts?

May be they are very informative, but its going to be useful if you cut shot and come to the point.

You can say 1 + 1 is 2 or you can use the following formula A1 *A2 + B1/D2 = C1-D1 * B2-C2 / 123*345, substitute A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, D1, D2 as per the following

How many can understand the second one?

Anyhow Ambassador of KC-ECCIE has right to post anything he wants and at the same time others have right to keep silent and let the thread die on its own....AMEN...May GOD bless.....hm..but who??

I do believe it is against TOS to bump threads over a certain age so if he does in fact follow through with his threat I assume the threads will be closed and he will be pointed?

Lilianna, the rules only apply to reviews, although a mod does have discretion. There was a discussion on this in the Men's area, but obviously I can't discuss what modda said about his thoughts on the matter. But I think it is safe to say that bumps just for the sake of bumping to the top will likely not be appreciated by anyone.

Yes I agree on this one...there has to be a valid & genuine reason to bump non-review threads.

Such vitriol lol. What harm do the posts cause? Just because something is posted doesn't mean you have to read it. It's your choice weather to do so or not.....why the need to mock

I know that there have been a number of folks who have spoken how good hearted SS has been...whatever their reasons for stating that...I'll go with that.

And also, it has been noted how, SS has just let criticism roll off his back, and has had a "good nature" approach in his posting history on Eccie. And I totally agree with that.

However there are times when having a good heart & positvie attitude are trump by being intelligent about things....I'm thinking the lastest round of threads by SS should probably have been trump by being intelligent about things

Well, I for one appreciate someone passing on wisdom. No one says everyone has to read it. Maybe it should be in another forum - I'm not really qualified to say! - but some of us newer guys do get something out of this. Just my opinion.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Community policing will take care of any bump issues. People will flat out freak the fuck out if he keeps bumping these threads. There's really no reason to bump them. Anybody searching for the information will still find the thread via the Search feature. That's what it's there for.

Oh, and don't get me wrong, I do appreciate the information.

Speaking of which, and while we're on endlessly long desk top publishing--on 'your' screen, SS could you add a chapter on how to field strip a 1907 Springfield
rifle? Include the blow ups and illustrations, too, for when they take down the site. Lol

Well, would you look at that! Becky posted this in the Time Capsule almost three years ago...

http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=5093

And T-Bone posted this on the same day, Dec 31, 2009:

http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=5031&

Looks like a bunch of people tried to save valuable info from ASPD before it went dark in Jan, 2010.

I see reviews on ladies I have no interest in seeing. I don't read them most of the time.

I see folks come on here and talk about their politics. I either read or don't based on whether I want to hear it.

Some guy puts this info out here for you to take or not take. What's the big deal? don't read it. I got this in a PM from SS a few weeks ago when I asked a newbie question in another thread. It was definitely long, but more importantly, helpful to those who need it. The beauty of the written word is: you can scan it to skip through to the parts that you find helpful.

The funniest part: The reason I looked at this post this morning is because of the 28 replies. So all your complaining about the thread, makes it stronger.

I actually got something out of it. For instance, i never thought about not wearing perfume or anything that smells good for my married clients. not sure if i will stop wearing it or not, but i must say i never thought about it like that.
It is ridiculous that some of you are upset he is giving you words of wisdom. If you dont want to read it then skip it its not that serious. Dont get butt hurt about it though.
