It's Time to Dump the Income Tax

I'm all for it!!! It will make April 15th just another day. The left should love it as the rich will pay big with no loopholes and the poor recieve prebates to help them. It will also make drug dealers pay taxes and illegal immigrants and foriegn tourists that use our sub-structure as well.

income tax prepares don't make much money on doing income tax returns. its a small part of the business. they make far more money doing audits or other related tax business with companies/corporations. they won't lose any sleep over the income tax being gone.

Not true, most tax preparers are totally dependent on income tax returns.
You'll find them in any HRBlock, Jackson Ewitt or Liberty Tax office.
They make $12 - $15 per hour if they are lucky + maybe some bonus or commission.
And all it takes is a 60 hour class in taxation.

Just a tiny few with added education like CPA Enrolled Agents (me) or Masters degree in tax make the big bucks.
They can do the audits and represent people before the IRS.

I'm one of those few, it's my second source of income besides trading currencies.

But believe me, far most tax preparers are totally useless when it comes to anything else then a total standard tax return with only w-2 income, married, maybe kids tax credit and nothing more complicated.
Ask your tax preparer if he/she knows anything about K1's, or estate tax planning and you'll get a big NO from 90% of all tax preparers.

my tax preparer told me different. I guess he's in the 10%.
