It's a matter of acceptable risk. Acceptable risk is a personal choice. How much risk are you willing to accept?

oral with a condom still comes with a risk factor because herpes can be transmitted skin to skin and how many can roll the condom allll the way down?

oral without a condom heightens this risk factor because you can transmit and receive multiple types of STD's

Vaginal sex with a condom still has a risk because again herpers can be transmitted skin to skin

Bare Backing introduces an incredible amount of additional risk.

The more sexual partners you have either that are providers or just random people outside of the hobby increases risk because of the number of partners increases the risk.

You can never know your true risk, and therefore have to make an educated guess in order to decide what activities offered and given fall within your level of 'acceptable risk'. Knowing that a provider barebacks, or knowing that someone likes to get BBBJ's on rundberg, or that likes to hit whatever they can on a friday night on 6 street would add to that educated guess.

but again you can never really know if your perceived risk is the same as your actual risk unless we all abstain and show up for sessions with std test results in hand. and that aint ever going to happen.

So for ME, knowing if a provider barebacks matters and while it doesn't exactly 'bother' me, it most absolutely factors into my decision to see someone and I can totally understand why it can bother hobbyists and providers.

Very well stated. I do ,however, believe that the last statement is a bit slanted. I say this because how do we "KNOW" if a provider or a hobbiest does BBFS??? Because she or he is on some list?? Because someone made an accusation without any substantiation in a thread on a SHMB???? Do we automatically believe it because we "read it on the internet"? Hell, I read it there so it must be true! How many guys have booked with a lady based on what was written on "the internet" only to find it wasn't even close to being as represented?

I amnot being naive as I know BBFS occurs and probably more than any of us care to believe, but just because someone accuses someone of any unsafe act doesn't mean they did it. We all (men and women) have our "screening" techniques and hopefully we use all will use a little good common sense in our hobbying.

My real question is, if you have not seen someone and had it offerred or been pressed to do it, how do any of us really "know"??????????

The Doctors are trying to keep the hobby down. They get kickbacks from pharmecutical companies for STD tests, cures, treatments. All they have to do is develop a damn vaccine (think polio/black plague, etc...virtually wiped off the face of the earth due to vaccinations). THEY DON'T WANT US TO BE SAFE!

We as hobbiests should lobby congress. Thats right, a million man "Hard Dick" march on Washington. Show solidarity. Show concern. DEMAND our right to toss the condoms in the sock drawer! We can band together. VW Microbusses across the country ferrying a million horny fuckers to Washington to show our disgust with them.

we would all love bb but the real risk besides the stuff you could catch is the risk of knocking someone up and paying child support for 18 years. I thankfully have managed to dodge that bullet over the years with girlfriends and such but I know a few guys that have a hefty amount of their paycheck garnished for just that. I know one guy who has half his paycheck go that that every month. thats 30K a year.

Its pretty obvious to me, that someone out there is "posing" as "still looking", if u read the alert I posted someone contacted me claiming to be "still looking" and it was obvious he was not...and this still looking imposture was asking for bareback so I think that this is a case of stolen identity.
