He's right up there with Ronald Reagan, William F Buckley and Milton Friedman.
It cracks me up that liberals can't succeed on talk radio. Their ideas can't be defended. When people call in they can't refute conservative challenges. It's almost sad.

if rush has advanced the conseverative so well...how come the debt is in the mess it is? That is the only measure a true conseravitive would go by and he has failed on that one tiny point. All rush advances is right wing spending projects. Rush and folks like him can not govern. Talk radio is like reading from a book full of fairy tales. You must like cookie andx milk!

For its analysis of the GOP candidates, the group compared campaign proposals to existing policies, and those it assumes will occur, including the continuation of the Bush-era tax cuts. Under that baseline, the group said, the debt would reach 85% of GDP by 2021.
Gingrich has noted that the federal budget was balanced when he was House speaker. But the budget group said the policies he's promoting now, including spending on space exploration, would increase the national debt by an additional $7 trillion over the baseline over the next decade to 114% of GDP. Santorum's policies would drive up the debt by an additional $4.5 trillion, to 104%.
Romney's proposals would increase public debt to between 85% and 96% of GDP, depending on the level of new revenue his proposals could generate in addition to the new tax policies he announced this week, the budget watchdogs said.
(FYI, The watchdog group was led by the founder of the CBO)

All any conservative can do is to vote for the Republican nominee, which I will do. Voting third party is pointless. Both parties have made a mess of things. Nobody honors their oath of office to defend the constitution.
Harry Browne (former Libertarian party nominee for president) once said that when you vote Republican instead of Democrat, you're just voting to go to Hell more slowly. I'm afraid he was right.
Have a nice evening.

I cant see voting for anyone from the right, increase the debt is their idea of a sound economy?
I wouldnt call myself a conservative by any stretch of the measure if I did.
a vote is never wasted, or pointless regardless how its cast IMO. Your vote, your voice. Voting along party lines just because, is one of the problems with this country. Politicians will never get the message we wont put up with their shit as long as thats the case.
Im a fucked up republican but thats ok, my party will vote for me anyway.
Say hello to hell joe, and save me a seat.

Once you get past all of the bluster, the fact remains that Rush has been around a long time, and knows exactly what he is doing.
I have been listening to Rush since before Dan's Bake Sale. He has an uncanny ability to read the political climate, and he knows his audience.
Sometimes I agree with what Rush says, and sometimes I think he is out to lunch. But regardless, I always enjoy the show when I am able to listen.
I do love it when the MSNBC Crowd starts with all of their pronouncements of righteous indignation. Rush has more Broadcast savy than the entire bunch combined.
The same can be said for much of the CNN and FOX crowd.

Rush only admitted he wants to jerk off watching videos of Ms Fluke fucking since he's gonna pay for her birth control... seems fair right. So he should clarify his stance and say we SHOULD provide free birthcontrol to women as long as the have a live webcam in their bedroom and are hotties... That guy is brilliant!

Well, El Guano, thanks for that steaming tidbit from the shitpile of fantasy.
And it's spelled "buoyant" if anyone is interested.

The fat, drug-addicted megalomaniac is single-handedly responsible for the hate politics that dominates repuke political discussion these days. Be proud for your support asshole.

I rarely get to listen to Rush anymore, but when I'm driving over lunch I catch a little if NPR is boring. Rush is really much more polite than Boortz, Hannity, Levin or Savage. Boortz is a total jackass, and is embarrassing to the Libertarian cause.

Now if you want to discuss the top gop candidates idea of saving the economy, then lets. When the real debates start and the left starts to focus on the economic platform the right has made public, 10 life vests wont be enough to float the gop candidates shoe much less his ass.

Af-freakin, you are just another example of a liberal who always ‘thinks’ he is smarter and ‘knows better’ than others. The fact is, you are so far behind that you cannot see the real leaders in the race.
