Regarding M.I.A. - about four years ago, when I first heard M.I.A.’s song Paper Planes, I was in a Dallas strip club. The song was catchy, and I enjoyed listening to it. Furthermore, it was a good night at the club. So now when I hear M.I.A.’s name, or hear the song, it triggers positive memories: the Pavlovian effect.
