There could be several things that come into play when this happens. Many times we can't make calls while sitting at our computer so we write numbers down for later contact. When we do call we may not remember all the details of your ad. Another thing to consider is that we may get your info confused with another providers ad. We don't only look at one ad at a time. We may be browsing all ads and showcases that interest us and then contacting several providers at a later time. Another thing is that this may be a way to keep the conversation going and to get a feel of the providers attitude. I can't count the number of times I have called a provider and her attitude sucks. It kind of goes like this; Hi, this is Budman from Eccie and I am calling about your ad. OK, you coming over to see me?
Hobbyist are not the only ones that refuse to read and respond in a rational manner. I have sent numerous emails or PM's to providers with several questions of a general nature and most of the time only one question is answered. For instance I may ask about her rates and availability as well as what part of town she is in. The response is usually "$XXX per hour, when do you want to come over". Well I can't answer that because I have no idea where you are.

Men are visual creatures, they look at the pics and say, "oh look, pretty...lets call." The little head does most of the thinking.
I take it as a compliment, but I do get frustrated that all the answers they seek could be found on my website. I just try to answer them the best I can and suck it up.

Ava,
Again I think some of this is a case of you getting these questions because many other ladies are a bit sloppy about their calendars, etc.
I have seen a lot of cases where a lady says "see my calendar for availability", but the calendar is blank, or woefully out of date. Even worse, I have asked for an appointment at a date/time that her calendar says is available in the city I will be in, but she responds "I'm not in your city that day."
On-line calendars--and even tour postings--do not have a great reputation for being accurately maintained. A side trip from Austin to San Antonio might be well withing one lady's reasonable travel distance, but for another lady it is not. I have met a lady in DC who was touring in NYC, but many would never consider DC close enough when her web site says NYC. You don't know in most cases unless you ask.
Same is true with rate. Some ladies pose 2 or 3 different ads for a tour, and quote a different set of prices on each. Asking is the safest way to avoid misunderstanding. Or a lady will post "XXX for 1 hr", but not tell me the 3 hr rate, which may or may not be 3 times the hourly rate.
Some of us, after having been stung by other ladies in these ways, have gotten to the point of always asking.

Yeah, I think the guys end up thinking with the little head

In this case I suspect you are being overly generous that he was thinking at all.

It's an easy mistake.

Ive run into this too....Ive also gotten inquiries about setting up a date after Ive already been to the city, because they are viewing an old ad and did not take note of my travel dates listed. Im cool about it though, no worries.
About asking where a guy saw my ad, I once asked a guy where he found my website, and he replied...on the internet. Trying to be diplomatic, I asked him if he found my site through an ad somewhere, and he said...oooh! yes I sure did..the ad was on the internet too.
After a long silence, had to ask me if I was still on the phone...I was literally at a loss for words and had absolutely no idea what to say to him lol

Some guys prefer to do their own research while others prefer if you do it for them. I just answer the questions and use that opportunity to find out more about them

2. They ask me what 'city' I'll be in when my showcase and ad says DALLAS.
3. They want to know what my prices are. ( the ads state what price by the hour, etc)
Is it just me, or do you guys get this a lot too, even from men who have seen several providers on their P411 and their Eccie/TER other reviews???

Haha, see? That's exactly what I'm talking about. Your post was ostensibly ranting about guys asking you for things that aren't listed in your ads and/or things that your ads say you don't do, but then you make an exception in your very next post. So, that's why if an ad says one thing, I'll sometimes check just to make sure ![Smile](https://cdn-w.eccie.net/images/smilies/smile.gif) hehe

I cant speak for Ava, but what I got out of her orginal post and issue is something I can relate to. There is something to touring and outlining travel dates and rates as opposed to preferences.
For example, (and this did happen to me) when I say I will be in Atl from the 14th-16th, then in Baltmore from the 17th-19th and my rate is $xyz... Asking me if I can see you on the 18th in Atlanta and what the rate is, has me wondering what they are thinking.
On the other hand, I say Im available from 10a-10p, but with advanced notice, I have made dates earlier or later than those times. I also say I do not accept last minute dates, but for regulars, I have seen someone on short notice.
Theres a difference between preferences and deciding to make allowances for them...in which case absolutely, you never know if you dont ask. But its different when it comes to touring, once the travel schedule and rates are set.

Yeah, saying you're in one city and a guy asking to see you in another... that's dumb. At leas until transporters are invented

Age isn't a big deal when it's asked as a question...on my website, ( which I JUST submitted a ton of text for the Q and A section), it says that I WILL make exceptions for men under a certain age if they have references, reviews, or are members of sites like Date Check and P411. But you haven't seen the website yet.
Seriously, I think a lot of men really do just see the pictures, write the number down, and say okay I'm going to call or write her now...
