Good to have a plan; and speaking multiple languages is great. But if shit hits the fan here; the only safe havens will be the dictatorships of the world..Mexico, El Salvador, Panama, won't be better and will likely be worse IMO...oh and the politican infighting in most of the other world economies is a hell of a lot worse; but then being from America you won't know how bad the disagreements are so life will feel good I am thinking.
but, hey ya got a plan !

Plan A, Plan B, and if needed Plan C, and none of the countries you mentioned are on my list.

I'd like to clarify that Mexico would be last on my list.

Just checking. Is this your idea of an intelligent, reasoned response? I just want to be able to meet your standards. So since they would have gotten the guns anyway, it doesn't matter that the federal government sold them to them. Do I have that right?

I'm sure his family would be comforted knowing that he would have been killed anyway. It will make it a lot easier for them.
With all due respect, and as politely as I can, you're an idiot.

I think our Founders would be the first ones to raise arms if they saw what their country had become.

And you are incredibly naive, but thanks for resorting to name calling.

Bud, not much on here ticks me off. I enjoy the lively back and forth, along with a fair amount of what I consider good natured name calling. Like guys when we get together, it's a form of bonding.
What I don't like is when someone makes light of someone's death, especially when that someone is out on the front lines protecting me. Those people are heroes to me, and my respect for them is boundless. I don't like how our leaders treat them as cannon fodder, and this program of Holder's is reprehensible and impeachable. You made fun of the agent's death. His death in service to us. Therefore, I was not name calling. I was just simply recognizing a fact.

A few questions for the “Dump the System” folks.
- What will we replace it with?
- How will we determine who is qualified to run our new “Not the old form of government”?
- Replace the devil we know with one that has no track record (new form of gov is new) and no reason to act different?
- What would you replace our current Constitution with? One that reflects the changes you want? Regardless that there aren’t enough people that support your changes to change things the way the current Constitution allows them to be changed?
- Who has the experience we need?
- Who evens knows all the questions that need to be asked before there would be a snowball’s chance in hell I’d give you more than a single vote to change our country’s form of government?
Our system is not perfect. Show me some Founding Father quality people and I might listen. Please dear God show me 5 of them and I would pledge my life, my fortune and my sacred honor to their cause.
Until then I’ll be taking a dump.

no you were .. huh. No where in my post did I make fun. I was simplly making a point... that you didnt get. Do you think his family feels better or worse depending on the source of a gun? The Agent is still dead and 99% as likely to have died that day.. fast and furious or no fast and furious.

As comforted, i'm sure, as they would be if they knew that you and whirlaway were using it for some cheap ass political points.

It was a sarcastic comment aimed at someone using the death to make a cheap political point - nobody was making light of anyone's death. So spare us the phony outrage.

And i've got $1000 that says you're one of those people writing letters to the editor whining about police unions. Or at the very least, nodding your head in agreement when you read one of those letters whining about police unions.

Another straw man up, another straw man down. Good job, Doove! I'll take that $1000.
Of course, I meant that politely and respectfully.

Let me see if I get this straight. If the guard would have been shot anyway and/or I (hypothetically) oppose police unions, what the government did is ok. Is that right?
