I'm not outraged. I'm tickled to see the Republican establishment take out the long knives and start gunning for old Herman. I told you that they would never let him have the nomination, and y'all said I was wrong. You just wait. If he weathers this, they'll swift boat him on something else. And then something else again. They big boys smell blood, and the blood they smell is Obama's. They're not letting some rank amateur who is unelectable (and who they know is unelectable) like Cain spoil their chance.

Unelectable... Unelectable... keep saying it... click your heels together everytime you say it... Unelectable... Unelectable...

How many times was that said about a two-bit, ain't done nothing, snappy-talkin idealogue from Chicago a few years ago?

The only thing Cain doesn't have going for him, is the Massively Corrupt Chicago Machine behind him! Other than that... his real world achievements and business sense still blow Barry Soetoro clean away!!

Barry didn't "achieve" the White House.... Chicago did!

If our President can say he's ashamed of our country.... I can sure as Hell say I am ashamed that 51% of the voting ignorant were stupid enough to hold out their hand, and take the change he's left for them!!

But hey.... I'm not too much unlike him. * It's all about ME. . . and I've made a killin' in the last month.... so keep up the good work, Barry..... You Da Man!!

Like you, I am caught between a rock and a hard place when it comes to being against just about every thing that the Democrat Party stands for, while at the same time enjoying one of the best business years ever.

But then, who occupys the White House has never had much to do with the success of my Business. So I have to base my vote on what I think is good for the Country as a whole. I am old enough to have lived through 12 Presidents, including President Obama, some great, some absolutly terrible. The Country has survived.

But one thing is different now. We have finally reached that point where the people who put into the system are fewer than those who take out. That generally spells doom for any great civilization, there is no reason why The United States will be any different. I am too old to see the end, but I really feel for my Grandkids. The Great Country, this nobel experiment, will probably not be here for them to enjoy. It will join the backwash of fallen civilizations who died from puking on their own vomit.

Cain update: Herman's story doesn't hold up to scrutiny yet again! Second woman wasn't paid "a couple of months" pay in settlement. Of course that story also puts the lie to his first (or second, it's so hard to keep up) story that "If the restaurant [association] did a settlement, I was unaware of it.”This one was $45,000!!

That's what happens when wealth is concentrated in fewer and fewer hands.

Congratulations on your superb business year.....and for not giving a shit about anyone else.

Same here. . . but I figured if he can take credit for doing nothing. . . I can also give him credit for doing nothing!

It's not just the U.S.A. that is going down the sewer... it is all of Western Civilization! * I just hope your time line is fairly accurate. . . I would rather not be around to see the end!

Alhamdulillah !!

Default No, Doove

This is what happens when the Democrats take President Kennedy's famous line, 'ask not what your Country can do for you, but what you can do for your Country', and turn it 180 degrees. I think the cry from the Democrat Voter is "gimme my Obama Money"

http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=...ail&FORM=VIRE1

And what do I do for my Country? I pay my taxes and employ 13 good Men with great jobs that allows them to support their famillys. We just hired a young man fresh out of trade school who will be a Jouneyman in about three years, and making more than most College Graduates.

Sorry if that is not enough.

The details continue to dribble out.

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/11/04/us...h-cain.html?hp

This story looks like a reporter driven story rather than Republican swift boating of Cain, but you never know. The sources may have been told to talk be party heavy weights. They are (or at least were) lobbyists and have to jump when the big guys ask them to.

Poor old Cain is now swimming in deep and rough water full of schools of tough Republican sharks. But he's never been out of the easing pool before. Way in over his head.

TexHomoHog's obsession with this Cain story is laughable.....does he think all this will help Odumbo? First of all, it will not turn out to mean very much. Secondly, Odumbo is going to lose and it won't be a nail biter. If Marco Rubio is the VP choice, we could be looking at at least 16 years of White House control for the Republicans:yike s:

Maybe I really should think of retiring in Europe.
Apart from all the problems (they will settle in time, with or without the Euro), Greece is a beautiful country, so are Italy and France.

good idea , but renounce your US citizenship first. You never deserved it to begin with. Then we can watch them tax you to death to pay for their shit. They have fewer and fewer young people to pay, so you might as well be a host to those parasites.....
