You may be smelling and tasting NONOXYNAL-9 which is a spermicide that many condoms come pre-lubricated with. It has a very distinct odor and tastes even worse.

You can buy spermicide alone, yes, but it would probably be cheaper to buy a few condoms with nonoxynol-9 in the lubricant. The bitter taste I referred to in some condom lubrication is in fact this spermicide. My suggestion to you is that you ask a provider you trust if you could be the first appointment on a given day. Just be willing to schedule early and be flexible. If you ask for the first appointment of the day today or tomorrow, it gives her more incentive to pretend that you are the first client when you actually are not.

I have expieremented with 'Today's Sponge' recently to see if it was something I could use during 'spotting'. I didn't like useing it at all. It gets really foamy and it interfered with the taste, texture, lubrication...I won't be useing them again.
I have read on a lot of forums on these types of boards that useing the sponges during 'spotting' is a regular rotuine for a lot of girls.

Also, some women will use a store bought douch full of chemicals between dates. Not only are they inserting chemicals up in there that you may be tasteing, but it is also a leading cause of vaginosis that China Doll had referred to earlier. Personally I use only plain water from a re-usable douch that I had picked up from a sex shop.

I might help or confuse the issue. I see a UTR provider with low volume and I noticed a different taste from her than previous visits and she had to cancel the week before this visit due to her period, so that could be it. However, this was also the first time I seen this lady when she came directly from her regualar office job so I know she did not have time to be her usually fresh self.

one other element to consider -- and this is a bit tangential to the original issue -- is one's diet. vegetarians -- male and female -- tend to taste different from meat-eaters, just as non-smokers taste different from smokers. Hormones, diet, and environment can all impact tastes and smells.

Kaitlin, excellent point. I have noticed my own personal taste/aroma is different due to varying hormonal states. My partner can usually tell just by smell that I am close to ovulating in addition to taste. They have even gone so far to say they can taste the difference in my kisses sometimes. So yes, diet and hormones can be a factor in addition to possible health and external factors (such as condoms and lubes)

Perhaps a bit of shower play before hand with both and you giving her a bit of "hand washing" (w/o soap of course,) could help with some of these possible issues. Plus it leads to another great way to start the session. I love it when someone rubs my nether regions with warm water, just as I enjoy doing the same for them.

Yep I've smelled that smell too. Usually with providers that handle a lot of volume and frankly I think it's just the smell of dirty un-washed pussy....a combination of the womans natural secretions mixed with lube, condom funk etc.....

I appreciate all the responses. I have concluded that it is the spermicide that goes with condoms. That's my final answer, and I guess I will just have to make bubble baths part of the routine from now on. My new handle is Mr. Bubbles. LOL.
