Many subAMPS discourage female clients for this very reason.

At the end of the day, it’s all about who the shops target.

Some truly just want to be a L0 shop and they have nicer decor and market more to the females. I have been to several of these and the massages are fantastic. Type 1 successful and so is type 3. Type 2’s success is dependent on whether they can adapt.

This is so true - especially about the second type of L0. Most don’t have a clue about the terms of their lease agreement. And when they get into trouble financially they try to sell their business to some other Chinese buyer by claiming they have tons of repeat clients visiting their shop. I’ve seen the ads on the Chinese online listings trying to offload their places to other prospective Chinese buyers looking to get in on the rub and tug action.

Meanwhile the landlord is waiting for rent about to kick them out. And will have to allow subletting otherwise.

That’s why I prefer your example of the first type of massage business. Clean, comfortable and quiet and they know how to massage. Not cheap and run down like the third type where tons of walk-ins constantly disturb your massage by coming through the door where there’s no receptionist to keep your session from being interrupted. And not compromised like the second type.

All of the AMPs sell their shops when they get out, move or upgrade. These places go for anywhere from $50k - $100k just to let someone else come in and take over the shop/lease as is. But a good shop will net north of $500k year.
