DOGE is doing an AI audit. Soon cannot fire anyone but I bet he has a name in the executive branch who does. What did the democrats say, if you have nothing to hide why are you worried? If they can find a department head with only 5% unexplained money losses, give them an award for being competent. I think that 5% is very unrealistic.

I ain't speaking as a demmie
Relying on an AI to do the audit is something *I* don't trust.
There are already regular accounting tools in place to do that.
Reason for my lack of trust is the AI only learns from what it has been exposed to. And serious conflict (on multiple levels) having the elon guy supply it.
Otherwise can you say Butlerian Jihad?

'Department' of Government Efficiency spent $7MM of our tax money in it's first week of operation.

The premise created here and in this thread is a false one.
The Democrats are ntot advocating wasteful spending.

I think the biggest problem is congress appropriated these funds for one reason or another. I don't know why, probably a bunch of this for that negotiations. Now a non government employee with a group of kids is rifling through private info and making all these funds look as bad as possible. Reality is this spending probably has a future return on investment, increases our GDP, and probably helps US security. The wealthier other country's citizens are the less likely they will resort to crimes against the US.

Hmm, so the usual suspects here who scream that Trump and his supporters have to reveal everything about their jobs, income, personal info, etc., are now upset that THEIR side's waste (and abuse of that same info) is being revealed. Seems the left really doesn't like this whole transparency thing....

Probably much better (legal) ways to investigate. USAID has their own Inspector General. Go through those books and see if funds were paid appropriately. Other than that Congress is the pathway to change funding, not the executive branch strongarming.

Definitely. Called soft power. Another way of saying it is that our good will can and has been repaid. Example: when the tsuami (sp) ravaged places on the pacific rim, the places that had muslim communities saw USAID bundles of food and nothing from any of the terrorist organizations that had ties there. Big time ROI.

I'm waiting for any of the maggies to explain why CIA personnel had to be revealed (*any* part of their identity is enough of a breech of security). What positive good for the country did that do?

Definitely investigate. Removing AGs and those that are already vetted to do such is NOT an investigation. Transparency would show a real investigation from that of foxes in the hen house. There is a reason why legal procedures are in place, one to be transparent. Going behind the back of these is something y'all should have learned not to do with donny 1.0 because you knew this would happen.

donny&co know that but choose to ignore it. Must be a reason since they know what will happen from his last time in office.

And you include no links, of course.
You don't include any examples of corruption or
mis-management.
Thanks for not giving any examples of your claims and no link of any kind.

Thanks for not addressing any of the topic of the thread...good try but the deflection doesn't work.
Just a VERY SMALL amount of the corruption and mismanagement of tax payer money found so far and your deflection to palpable...another swing and a miss...you keep striking out slugger.
