Trump was oblivious to anything but his own popularity. Warp speed was never led nor promoted by him. He was talking bout uv rays, bleach and horse medicine.

His team did an excellent job getting a vaccine to the public, though his supporters continue to cry hoax.

Yes he was!

We may never know where the virus first started.

Nope. They were openly rooting for Trump to fail, as covid deaths mounted and were tracked on scoreboards by CNN and MSNBC. Go back and read their 2020 articles in the New Republic, the Atlantic, the Nation. Dems sniped at everything Trump did - even as he banned airline flights from China, ramped up production of ventilators, sent hospital ships to New York and Long Beach, ordered the Army Corps of Engineers to convert convention centers into emergency facilities, launched Operation Warp Speed, etc. etc.

I saw all of this with my own eyes, unburdened by any kind of derangement syndrome.

Very few people are 100% anti-vax. I might choose to take the vaccine for myself as a middle-aged person with a covid co-morbidity but NOT want my healthy child to take it, given the relative risks involved. That doesn't make me "anti-science"! In fact, I can make those decisions BASED on the science.

Democrats politicized it (not Republicans) when they started MANDATING covid vaccines as a requirement for school and/or work. Republicans merely reacted by saying - whoa! That should be a private decision each of us reaches individually after consulting with our doctor. When government starts intruding into our private lives in such an objectionable way, I'm for whichever political party stops the diktat drift. That's common sense.

She lost the election 4 years later for a ton of other reasons. I doubt if many voters even remembered her anti-trump, anti-vax pandering during the 2020 VP debate.

I don't remember the incident, but I don't think the secret service should stop protecting the President if/when he tests positive for covid. Biden caught it multiple times, and I don't recall him telling his SS detail to stay home.

Trump left office just as the vaccine was being rolled out. In Jan. 2021 there was no real skepticism about the covid vax. Most of us were scrambling to find a dispenser.

The skepticism came later, much of it fueled by false assurances made by Biden, Fauci, et al. - e.g. if you get the vaccine it means you won't get covid and can't spread it to others, etc. The vaccine "worked" by many measures, but it was a big mistake to oversell what "worked" actually means.

Revisionist history.

I don't remember being promised you wouldn't get it or transmit it to others.

I remember being told it would help prevent hospitalization and death.

Biden’s positive test comes exactly one year to the day when he assured the American public that if you were vaccinated, you wouldn’t get the virus. He said this in Ohio during a town hall about the pandemic hosted by CNN’s Don Lemon.

You’re not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations,” Biden said on July 21, 2021. One year later, he did.

Yes, we know where it started: Your tax dollars at work. Notwithstanding the use of Ivermectin was an off label use for horses. It was originally invented for people and is widely used world-wide as an over the counter preparation in many countries.

Well all I can say is that we remember things very differently. I can’t speak to the media organizations you mentioned because I don’t read, listen or view any of them. If you have any specific articles that prove your point please point them out and I might have to change my mind. Personally I think you are seeing things through the lens of conservative media.

But we’re wandering off topic so i’ll end it here. This is about the report generated by The House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic. Not differences in how liberal and conservative media report the news.
