Very few people are 100% anti-vax. I might choose to take the vaccine for myself as a middle-aged person with a covid co-morbidity but NOT want my healthy child to take it, given the relative risks involved. That doesn't make me "anti-science"! In fact, I can make those decisions BASED on the science.

Democrats politicized it (not Republicans) when they started MANDATING covid vaccines as a requirement for school and/or work. Republicans merely reacted by saying - whoa! That should be a private decision each of us reaches individually after consulting with our doctor. When government starts intruding into our private lives in such an objectionable way, I'm for whichever political party stops the diktat drift. That's common sense.

I don't remember the incident, but I don't think the secret service should stop protecting the President if/when he tests positive for covid. Biden caught it multiple times, and I don't recall him telling his SS detail to stay home.

Trump left office just as the vaccine was being rolled out. In Jan. 2021 there was no real skepticism about the covid vax. Most of us were scrambling to find a dispenser.

The skepticism came later, much of it fueled by false assurances made by Biden, Fauci, et al. - e.g. if you get the vaccine it means you won't get covid and can't spread it to others, etc. The vaccine "worked" by many measures, but it was a big mistake to oversell what "worked" actually means.

Well all I can say is that we remember things very differently. I can’t speak to the media organizations you mentioned because I don’t read, listen or view any of them. If you have any specific articles that prove your point please point them out and I might have to change my mind. Personally I think you are seeing things through the lens of conservative media.
