That's precisely my point, thank you for agreeing.
Either prosecute BOTH Kamala and Trump, or NEITHER.

He didn't agree with you. He was explaining how you're making a false equivalence. Words mean things.

Yeah, words mean things all right.
Is that why you had to edit out the "peacefully and patriotically" part lol?

As far as I can recall, she did neither.
It took Trump 2-1/2 hours on Jan. 6, but hey, at least he did try to call off the dogs.
Can't say the same for Kamala, can we?

He also led the dogs to the door and turned them loose.
He's a pathetic traitor, a sore loser and the world's biggest snowflake. Fuck trump and everything he represents.

Trump's people helped organize the proud boys or whatever for J6th. Trump also said things to incite a violent protest. Trump also once or twice threw in the word 'peaceful' in there.
One right doesn't compensate for the two dozen wrongs that you've done to incite an insurrection.
Show me where Harris acted to stir the pot to incite an attempted coupe. We already have the half where both Trump and Harris said 'peaceful protest', we just need the 'overthrow the government' side of Harris for them to have done the same kind of thing.

As Salty would say, "Ya made some good points there, mate". So shouldn't a jury be allowed to weigh and consider them, instead of letting hyper-partisan Secretaries of State or appointed state justices bring down the hammer on trump or Harris?
As previously noted, Special Counsel Jack Smith didn't seem to feel the 14th Amendment or any federal laws currently on the books were sufficient to charge Trump with "insurrection". And he hates the guy more than all of yinz combined.
At least you and eye seem capable of rational thinking (at times). Can't say the same about tommy. He's willing to shred the Constitution to stop Trump. He doesn't realize he's just like trump... he needs more ego to rein in his id!

So what should we do? Hold a national poll where every citizen can vote on if Trump should be locked up forever for trying to steal our democracy, and another one trying to boot off Biden and Harris from the ballot?
...... you know what will happen, right? The GOP would push to make voting easier for everyone in the country, with no forms of ID needed.
Which is the exact opposite of what they've been trying to do by killing main in voting and whatnot.

You should leave him on the ballot everywhere. Then beat him fair & square in November. Just like Gavin Newsome and other leading Democrats are saying. Stop fucking around with the 14th Amendment or other flaky ways to keep trump off the ballot - SCOTUS will slap you down and you only wind up boosting him in the polls!
It blows my mind that the Dems won't get rid of Biden & Harris, a pathetic proven mix of incompetence, corruption and senility. Do Dems have a suicide wish?

Already beat him fair and square, he refused to accept it and attempted an insurrection - thus, the 14th Amendment.
By the way, you don't get to just cherry-pick your way around the Constitution to get your preferred outcome. The 14th Amendment is just as important as any of the others.

So, what? Leave him on the ballot, give him the chance to win or steal the election, then ignore the 14th?
Or should we follow what the 14th says and make his campaign void from the get go?
Either way, the 14th still rules true. You are only choosing to ignore the amendment as written.
You're either in favor of ignoring the 14th, or you are in favor of allowing a traitor to run for or steal office, after they have previously refused to answer questions on if they will abuse power, after they have previously expressed interest to get rid of elections entirely and remain the president forever.
You can't selectively pick and chose which laws you abide by. It's all or nothing, and the MAGA crowd really sounds like they want to abide by no laws.

Obama is the one attempting to take our democracy with his two-tier justice system.
It’s been Biden and him all along conspiring with China and Ukraine.
Now he has the DOJ, FBI, IRS and local partisan DA attempting to keep Trump tied up in the courts to effect the next election.
They are also using the influx of illegals for future votes and a one party system.
This is the actual insurrection of fellow Americans by the political elite.
Illegals right now are being taken better care of then our homeless veterans and other homeless Americans.
This is the actual insurrection.
Liberals you’ll get yours when they get their one party system and don’t need you anymore, you’ll cry the loudest when they come after you when don’t toe the line.
Check out China, Russia and North Korea, that’s your future with a one party system.
87,000 new IRS agents aren’t for the rich it’s to go after everyone.

... That's rather similar to what I would say...
... Smith knows that the 14th Amendment doesn't apply here.
And WHY all the whataboutism here with Trump?
Are we discussing Kamala getting BANNED or not?
