You didn't reply to the George Floyd scenario, why?
Is this type of mass surveilance you want to see being used by the other side.
DO you support kicking down doors, with no warrants, and charging people for crimes AFTER the evidence is discovered during that illegal search?
Because that's exactly what this is.
This isn't a party issue, this is about the basic privacy rights everyone has guaranteed in the Constitution.

Alas there are too many irrational Americans with low IQ levels that clearly don't understand this

It has been shown here time and time again that libs don't care when Conservatives constitutional rights are violated. Sham trials, illegal surveillance, the IRS targeting scandal, trampling on free speech, etc, etc

The same people touting this Orwellian phone tracking stuff said it was garbage when the 2000 Mules movie used the technology. I guess it only doesn’t work when you’re tracking ballot harvesters.
It’s interesting how leftists always have to add the “free and fair” qualifier when talking about elections. (Except for 2016, when voting was normal. Obviously, Putin stole that one) They have this weird need to keep trying to convince themselves.

Then why did they have this guy on tape saying "We should have brought long guns and taking care of this thing," and "wanted to hang Pelosi on a pole."
Is that slang for I just wanted to come in take a look around the inside of the capital and maybe get a copy of the Constitution from the gift shop on the way out?
Minimize much?
BTW - the worrying you have in this thread is the reason for Twitter having policies on Big Machine Learning. Communications and other governance policies and ppl on those teams.
I agree nobody should be tracked by big tech and all the more reason that we need governance on what can be used for / by govt or anyone.

Why did Kathy Griffin hold up a severed Trump head?
Why did Madonna want to blow up the White House, and Johnny Depp and the Actors assassinating Presidents, ahem, joke.
We do have the right to political free speech.
I have called for tax collectors to be tarred and feathered as we did years ago, but its not a direct threat generated against one person.
Besides, maybe the guys were blind and thought having Nancy Pelosi hanging from a stripper pole might be an easy way to cop a feel of those big tits, that would probably hit the ground from 5 feet up.
Remember the old lady cartoons in playboy years ago, tits to her waste, all that booze fat in Nancys tits would make it even worse.

Fucking made me laugh out loud... Cuz nobody likes big sloppy tits like this guy does, but even those might be a little much for me.
Kathy Griffith got blackballed from the entire entertainment industry for what she did BTW. I still don't think she's gotten a job since. Dumb bitch

Ever hear of a thing called locker room talk / hyperbole / smack talk? Look it up. As Devo stated, people make bodacious statements all the time. I am sure you have as well. It's just talk
The fact is despite having FBI agents embedded with them, the government never produced any evidence of any Oath Keeper plan to breach the capital on Jan 6 nor any plan identifying how they would stop Senile Biden from taking office

That is the exact opposite of what Twitter's machine learning department was doing. They were not making policies (besides how long and how many people does it fucking take to make a policy). No, they were building algorithmic tools and methodologies).

Guilty Guilty Guilty Guilty Guilty. No matter how much whining, complaining, bitching tRumptards are doing, it's not going to change the outcome. This isn't about free speech. It's about a group of radicals that plotted and then attempted to prevent Congress from certifying Biden's victory. These assholes got what they deserved.
The asshole Proud Boys are next. It's going all the way up the ladder to the biggest asshole that caused this to happen tRump. His time is coming. So it's going to be lots of fun listening to tRumptard worshipping fools continue to whine, bitch and complain.

18 U.S. Code § 2383 - Rebellion or insurrection
Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.
^^ No mention of guns or of any weapons needed to be charged.

"We should have brought long guns and taking care of this thing,"
Question, what was "..this thing" referring to? That is an admission of an act and involvement in it. The act would be stopping the process of certifying the Presidential election. The assault did temporarily stop the process. That is sedition to which three Oath Keepers have plead guilty. They are cooperating with the Government, this is an on going investigation.
Hyperbole is an exaggerated statement not meant to be taken literally. William Todd Wilson, an Oath Keeper brought a rifle to DC. Guns were stock piled at various locations around DC. It looks like guns were brought to Trumps speech. There were people that refused to go through the metal detectors to hear Trump's speech. When Trump was informed of this he said something to the effect of - it's okay, they aren't here to hurt me. Regardless, the issue of guns is a red herring in the overall discussion of sedition.
For years right-wing fringe groups has been training for the call to action against the Government or whatever power was the flavor if the day. If you listen to the testimony of various actors charged with Jan 6th crimes, it's clear that Trump gave them a motive and a call to action. Many expected a Presidential pardon. I think it was around end of Dec 2021 and there was a Chatubate model talking about the Jan 6th rally and that people were taking guns (to DC).
Also note the notation of "gives aid or comfort thereto". This is why Trumps apparent refusal to do anything for three hours or so while Congressmen and his family asked him to make a statement matters.
Here is the court filing for William Todd Wilson.

Guns?
The Branch Davidians had guns as well, and all they wanted was left alone.
I have as much trust in our Government then, as I do now, after the Whitmer kidnapping fiasco, again, likely egged on by planted agents, you just don't know who instigated them to say what they did.
Ray Epps come to mind?
Again, likely an agent, on the ground encouraging people to break the law, because he hasn't been charged.
Bottom line is this, and I know because I have known people who have done LONG Federal prison time.
You get charged, you are going to jail, especially if they really want you to go to jail, and all of these people have been hand picked to go to jail by the highest powers that can be.
They pled guilty, because they didn't want to face 20 plus years, and, took the deal, again, knowing what I know, you do that, turn evidence, and walk sooner than the guy they really wanted, who was the leader.
Come on, lets be honest, nobody the fed wants in jail is going free, if that's not what they plan on.
After you burn 70 people to death with tanks and guns waiting for them outside, you are pretty much able to get away with anything.

Branch Davidians were on their own property. The oath keepers came to the property of the US Congress.
I don't like what happened in Waco, and what happened in DC. The moral of the story is "fuck around and find out."

I don't think you know what you're talking about with building algorithms and data harvesting.
Literally it's the new frontier of how businesses operate and is only self regulated to date. Policy formulation is usually not done in a vacuum of one or a small group. It's done by the contribution of group think and concerns - and usually involves outside experts as consultants.
In order to gather that kind of knowledge, you would have to invest incredible amount of money for proprietary single user knowledge versus employing outside vendors who are experts in this area alone.
The same would be considered of all the other areas that you found to be valueless, because your view is only from a user view versus an owner, and liability of platform perspective.

The argument against prosecuting these morons comes from those that bow down to the great orange turd and nothing more.
It’s ridiculous what I’m reading here. The deaf, dumb and blind loyalty is bizarre.
The quicker the GOP moves away from Turd the better, Otherwise the GOP is going to regret it.

the argument is that the vast majority of these people committed nothing more than simple trespass and/or petty theft and they are getting years long sentences for it. that's ridiculous especially given the capitol police allowed many of these people to walk freely around and allowed them to enter in the first place.
treating the vast majority of these people like insurrectionists is an authoritative draconian overreach by Democrats acting like a military junta which ironically is exactly what Democrats and many posters here accuse Trump of being, a dictator.
the oath keepers, like antifa, were there with plans for serious bullshit. no, the oath keepers shouldn't get off lightly however antifa does, in fact the left won't even charge them at all.
the left is showing their true identity as the real threat to democracy.

Blah, blah, blah
None of the tripe you wrote does nothing to change the fact that despite having FBI agents embedded with them, the government never produced any evidence of any Oath Keeper plan to breach the capital on Jan 6 nor any plan identifying how they would stop Senile Biden from taking office
