He's been banned for several days now. I wonder how many times a person has to be banned before it's permanent. There should be a point where the moderators recognize that a person just isn't meant to follow simple rules and say adios forever.

I think it was a case of mistaken identity. last comms from any mod i got was a warning on 11-17. some gal dodged a bullet, and i toftt. all good, i'm a team playa..

or maybe the warning was enough for a ban? i thought a warning was just that, and you needed an infraction for a ban. the plot thickens..

i used to get bans right and left. now mostly when i have a point to make and know a ban will come. i would describe that as a ban that's worth it.

agreed. the old Trump thread got shut down by one of those supermod dudes who later got defrocked. b/c Trump was/is the greatest threat to democracy since 1787, to address the issues that i found relevant required preferably an old thread but if necessary a new thread. i am not of shine's mind that the more threads, the better.

we need to talk, the left and right. we are all Americans. social media has made an open discussion across the aisle anathema. i call for more communication between left and right, not less. there are issues on which both sides disagree; however, disagreement on policy is different than concluding that the other wing is run by the Antichrist and his minions. The other wing is hopefully run by at least patriots.
