You're gonna have a long wait... I've never seen solitary confinement for trespassing charges. I wonder how many trespassing tickets Capitol police write yearly and if they arrest and confine for that?

It would be hard to find a topic with more "evidence" to the contrary but then you don't impress me as somebody fond of evidence.
According to a Forbes report from August 2020, at least 13 cities have defunded or are in the process of defunding their police departments:
- New York City
- Washington, D.C.
- Baltimore
- Philadelphia
- Los Angeles
- San Francisco
- Atlanta
- Minneapolis
- Seattle
- Salt Lake City
- Portland, Oregon
- Hartford, Connecticut
- Norman Oklahoma,
- Austin, Texas
According to Forbes, funding cuts ranged from $1 billion in New York City to $3.5 million in Seattle and $850,000 in smaller cities like Norman, Oklahoma. However, Forbes also reports that several cities have increased police spending, including Houston, San Diego, Nashville, and Durham, North Carolina.

The cities that are already defunding the police
Let me see if I can guess your answer before you post it. "Defunding the police, taking money away from the police, doesn't mean the Mayor doesn't support the police", right?
Let me "adjust" your quote just a little. You would have to be really stupid to believe that.
I'll amend my statement to include Democrat elected Council members.
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-06-09/the-cities-taking-up-calls-to-defund-the-police
Minneapolis councilmembers took a remarkable step in pledging to disband its police department. Other cities are heeding demands to reduce police resources.
You must really enjoy looking stupid
https://www.npr.org/sections/live-updates-protests-for-racial-justice/2020/07/01/886000386/de-blasio-on-shifting-1-billion-from-nypd-we-think-it-s-the-right-thing-to-do
On Wednesday morning, Mayor Bill de Blasio defended the budget cuts to the city's police department, saying he's "very comfortable we struck the right balance."
"We are reducing the size of our police force by not having the next recruit class. We are reducing our overtime levels. We're shifting functions away from police to civilian agencies," de Blasio said.
If that sounds like "supporting the police", you are dumber than I had previously thought but then I've pretty much always thought you were dumb come to think of it.

The two incidents you cite had "self defense" arguments that were proved true in a court of law.
Think that law enforcement officer at the Capital would be successful in a "self defense" plea?

It would be funny to look at this list of cities and their crime rates and when the last Republican Mayor governed each. It might be revealing to show that there is a correlation between voting Democrat and increased crime and poverty. But that might be RAYCISS.
ew York City
Washington, D.C.
Baltimore
Philadelphia
Los Angeles
San Francisco
Atlanta
Minneapolis
Seattle
Salt Lake City
Portland, Oregon
Hartford, Connecticut
Norman Oklahoma,
Austin, Texas
Doesn't bother me, I don't have to exist in those shit-holes. Let the people get what they deserve for voting Democrat. Poverty, crime ridden, and corruption is simply the result of being stupid.
It's Darwin writ large. Stupid people make stupid voting decisions and incur stupid results. Being stupid, they blame this on the people they DIDN'T elect... or Whitey because... well it can't be that they are too stupid to make better decisions.
The libtards are hopeless.

Ashli babbitt was Unarmed - and 'whataboutism' - is not relevant.
Comrade CT conflates unrelated events - in his attempt to Defund, disarm, disband and dis-life police everywhere
Except the precious Capitol officer who protect his precious nazi pelosi/.

It is more complicated than you can understand. This source is right in the center on the bias scale.
https://www.tennessean.com/story/new...ck/7641800002/
If a city was "defunded", it generally means funds were shifted to other departments. It also doesn't mean their budgets were cut in half or totally shut down. Usually it is a 5% funding shift. This funding doesn't make overnight changes, it takes at least a couple years for the the programs to ramp up.
Crime is going to happen no matter what. Police aren't on every corner watching things. Police respond to situations when needed. Occasionally police are right there, but that isn't the norm. It is idiotic to say "a woman got her head cut off" that was because of defunding.... Anyone could walk down a street with big knife and cut someones head off and there isn't a fucking thing police can do about it except respond, report and investigate. Then hopefully find and arrest the perp.

Sheila Jackass Lee has been arrested three times at the Capitol recently. Article doesn't say for what other than "she was demonstrating." Doesn't say why she how she got back into the general population.

They weren't elected because they were considered "brilliant"!
Several years ago SJL was waiting at Bush Airport for a flight and decided to have a freshly baked fish dinner at an eatery there. As the story is told by reliable PERSONS within a couple of minutes of ordering she started DEMANDING her "freshly baked fish dinner." The atmosphere went downhill from there ... pretty much like the Capitol Policeman several years ago who asked her for her ID before she was allowed to ENTER THE CAPITOL. .... during the shouting and loudmouthing by SJL she demanded of the establishment manager to fire the lady who was preparing her .... "freshly baked fish dinner" .... which by that time was ready to be served and awaiting SJL's scene to subside so it would end up on the floor or sailing across the area adjacent to the restaurant. I was informed it took about eight minutes to have the complete dinner ready with ALL THE TRIMMINGS along with a salad with her requested dressing. I was told that all those from the restaurant to the gates nearby were witnesses to the disgusting display of arrogance and stupidity.
The lady who cooked her meal and attempted to serve it is Black, and had been a fine employee at the airport working in food service for about 20 years. She was not fired. That day she was allowed to distance herself from the scene and was paid for the remainder of the day. Rumor was (and is) that a pot was collected to supplement her wages for the excellent demeanor she displayed.

First of all Trayvon Martin wasn't shot by the Police. Secondly Your so called "Gentle Giant" forced his way into an officer's squad car and started pounding the shit out of him. Both justified so get over it. The Capital Riots were planned and executed by Democrats and Pelosi is being investigated for her involvement.
