This is one of the reasons you should be taking your vaccine and why you don't want to be infected with the coronavirus. Covid-19 can have many long term effects even if you have a mild case.

Interesting. A woman I work with in her mid 30's who had COVID and temporarily lost all sense of taste and smell says now she's not thinking as well as she used to, although I haven't noticed it. That's worrisome, if this actually causes a permanent loss of brain function.

It looks like Britain is starting on a 4th wave because of the Delta Variant. Hopefully they'll be able to get people vaccinated quickly enough to smash it out.

Places like Brazil haven't been so lucky with the variants, because they don't have as good of access to vaccines. Incredibly there are now 500,000 COVID deaths in Brazil, and they're probably undercounting. And there's no end in sight - new cases are close to the March peak.

It's ironic that President Trump's administration ramrodded Operation Warp Speed, which got the vaccines out fast and will probably save us from the worst of the carnage from the variants. But many strong Trump supporters are afraid to get the vaccine.

Stop panicking. You made it over a year. You'll be OK.

Of course I will be. I got the Pfizer vaccine. And I'll be in line at the earliest opportunity for booster shots if they're necessary.

All of these reports who knows what to believe from them. Sure there are some Trump supporters that are afraid to get it. There are Biden supporters afraid to get it too.

Good plan. I got the Pfizer vaccine. The Moderna and the Pfizer vaccines had the highest protection rates during clinical trials. Hopefully, a new mutant does not evolve that the vaccine will not work against it.

If big pharma wanted to make more money with the vaccines, they would not have given the M-RNA instructions to make multiple antibodies for possible multiple variants. You have the Alpha mutant from Great Britan, Beta mutant from South Africa and the Delta mutant from India. The Moderna and Pfizer vaccines offer protection against all of three of these mutants. That does not mean that a mutant could evolve that the first release of the vaccine will not have protection for. I don't think that is a premeditated plan on the part of big pharma.

There was no money in a vaccine for the SARS CoV2 virus until it developed an strong affinity to latch onto a surface protein found it lung cells. Until it (SARS CoV2) developed this physical characteristic it was not much different than seasonal flu.

Keep in mind that Moderna had to find an investor that was willing to fund them until they produced a revenue generating product. Moderna did not have anything to generate revenue for years. Moderna was one division company, the M_RNA vaccine. Pfizer in comparison had other divisions that had revenue generating products like viagra.

What I am worried about is the Chinese or some rogue regime cooking up something that won’t kill millions, but hundreds of millions.

If you think that won’t happen, just ask yourself. What’s to stop them?
Who's going to stop them??? Well Biden of course, or maybe WHO itself will stop them.

Ok, are you done ROFL yet??? lol

I am not absolutely sure I have had COVID, but I am 99% sure I've been exposed to it. Everyone of my employees have had it and everyone in my GF's family has had it so I can't imagine that I haven't been exposed to it several times. I'd take the test to be sure, but the test results for antibodies are worthless, so why bother?

I have minimal fear of the vaccine, but I have ZERO fear of COVID itself, the only thing I care about is keeping the State/Country/World open for business and if making sure that everyone but me gets vaccinated is the key then I am all for it. lol

I have a question, when a liberal has a "loss of brain function" just how are you able to tell??? lol

Speaking as a conservative I have always been been behind Operation Warp Speed because I knew it was the key to getting as close to "back to normal" as we will ever see again, but personally I have no fear of catching/getting sick from/dying from COVID. I don't fear COVID any more than the common cold/flu, I just want the hysteria regarding COVID to go away, and of course I don't want grandma dying on me either.lol

Yes A buddy of mine who was living in Las Vegas at the time caught it in VERY early 2020, sometime in January before anyone knew what it was. Ironically he took the antibody test months later and the test came back inconclusive because of the length of time that had expired. He was pissed and canceled the $150 charge on his Am Ex for the test. lol I don't see any reason whatsoever to get tested or vaccinated. When you know for a fact that everyone else is lying, the best solution is to trust your own common sense, and common sense combined with weighing all the evidence suggests I am going to be best off by doing "Absolutely NOTHING" right now.
