This will ultimately put any woman out of competition, in Any sport.

I am ALL for equal rights, for men, women, or however you identify yourself, but somewhere, a line has to be drawn.

Ok-- but I was a boxer in my 20's (no joke)... and I managed to break someones orbital bone ..... just sayin'-- you don't have to be born a male to have a powerful punch.

Honestly, I don't feel there are any easy answers. But a blanket ban is not the answer either.

Let them form their own sports teams...they can intermingle to their hearts content.

And you are using the wrong term. They AREN'T banned, they just have to follow the same rules to compete as everyone else of their same sex. They are free to choose their preferred sex identity over athletics any day of the week.

The problem with exceptions is...where to draw the line... draw it 10 ft, some will want it at 8 and others will want it at 12. The ONLY way to fairly treat everyone is with the same set of rules.

At the end of the day, people are free to call themselves whatever they choose, but they ARE NOT free to change biological fact. Someone can choose to identify as a bird, but if you throw them out of a plane, reality will hit them at terminal velocity.

Back in the stone age, West Point attempted to force women to fight men with pugil sticks.. As a 6'2" 230 offensive linemen on the Corps squad FB team, I was literally put in the ring against a 5'1" 120 girl in my Squad. I simply refused to hit her and let her hit me three times to advance her in the competition. A women (not her) eventually won through the same means because the men refused (rightly) to beat the shit out of the women. (I literally could have killed this girl regardless of the safety gear we wore). During that same summer we took this same girls equipment and distributed it among the men so that she ran with an empty ruck sack. (She was in our platoon). It was the ONLY way she could keep up on road marches or ruck runs... where we were graded as a unit vs. individuals. My point being, sure you might get in a good blow and cause some damage, but just by sheer mass and endurance the average woman is NOT going to be able to beat the average man.

Blanket rules (which is not a BAN) are the only way to deal with the situation. You can choose to be a girl and still compete against the boys, or you can choose not to compete. Your rights do not get to over-rule everyone elses.

I agree %100, no easy answer. I also never said to ban anyone. I simply said that a female will not be able to win anymore (to clarify)in a purely physical sport...

Maybe once that happens, they'll go back to home ec. where they belong... I kid...I kid...

But it's hilarious to think that the ultimate result of feminism is to drive women back into traditional roles.

So, someone help me out here. It seems like all of the cases I've heard about are males transitioning females and wanting to compete in female sports where they would seem to have a natural advantage (or so some people would think). Have there been any cases of it happening the other way around, i.e. female transitioning to male and wanting to compete in male sports? If so, I don't recall hearing of any.

Yes--- I've even mentioned it in this thread. Texas wrestler...born female. Has petitioned to compete with the boys but been denied. Has been allowed to compete because the testosterone is prescribed by a doctor, but has been forced to compete as a girl.

So you did, and I remember reading it. It just slipped my mind momentarily. Do you know if there is a significant number of other cases, or is this a relatively isolated case? It seems like most of the cases in the news are the opposite case, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if the news wasn't exactly accurate.

I think you're right that there are no easy answers. I'm just trying to understand the situation a little better.

You don't hear about the female to male gender benders competing against the boys because the boys will beat them every single time.

Again that just illustrates the absurdity of anyone taking this BS seriously.

And Ron DeSantis just locked up the Republican Presidential nomination for 2024 because he told the NCAA to pound sand with regards to losing events if they prevent the dudes with tits competing against girls.

Ron DeSantis: the newest incarnation of Hitler since, Trump, Romney, McCain, Bush, Dole, Reagan... you get the idea.

You don't hear about it because it doesn't forward a narrative on either side of the issue....

The whole point of girls sports is to give them a special all-girls league because they cannot compete physically with boys.

If we're now letting biological boys into girls sports, what is the point of girls sports at all? Just make one all-sex league and let girls try to make the team.

Spoiler alert: They won't. Apart from a very few extraordinary girls, all sports, including gymnastics and figure skating, will be dominated completely by boys.

But since women vote overwhelmingly liberal, it just means they are getting what they deserve. Good and hard.

Overwhelmingly? 42% of women voters voted for Trump. While that's not a majority share, its certainly not underwhelming, either. White women in particular-- went 55% for Trump.

Know what group of female athletes has better odds in competing against men? POC.

With Lenny on this one. That post comes across in a very Douchebag-esque way.

It might be my lack of desire for virtue signalling, but I find it odd that people willingly change their sex, willingly do invasive stuff to their body and then naively expect to be accepted to compete with other people , mostly young people, who do not chemically or surgically mess with what nature created and work very hard to train in the spirit of sportsmanship. All this is not fair just like it is not fair to accept doping, etc. or other less of invasive procedures to give a competitive advantage. "It is just not fair" as K Jenner said, and she knows what she is talking about. Trans folks can do sports , nobody should stop them ,but should not compete in officual competitions, with prizes or scholarships at stake, because they are trans by choice. Nothing against trans people, just staying objective about it.

My 2 cents.
