I think I've figured out Thaiman's schtick.

Become a regular at a subamp, spend hundreds of dollars there over the course of several visits, endear himself to masseuse and staff, get lucky and get laid. Then he comes on here and brags about his adventure, in the process betraying the trust of said provider and letting a bunch of mongers down with unrealistic expectations. He's clearly a charmer and shells out the dollars, but that doesn't do us much good.
