There are scientific studies quantifying the amount of oxygen that is consumed by subsequent breaths while wearing a mask. The first breath with the mask on is breathing in air in the mask with about 25% of the oxygen consumed from the initial maskless breath. Each breath thereafter has a reduced level of oxygen, although each subsequent breath doesn't have a 25% reduction ... phasing less after each mask contained exhale.
The early treatment a little over a year ago was increased oxygen supply and generous dosages of liquid vitamin C intravenously.
Has anyone seen actually photographs of the so-called "virus"?
And living proof that oxygen deprivation is brain damaging:

Okay. So, this thread is not about masks. Beating a dead horse here. Reddog was completely off topic. Why even bother responding?

I believe the medical community strongly recommended the flu vaccine for a number of years and still does (yes, I know flu vaccine is not 100% effective, but the best we got currently) as they have recommended other vaccines, pneumovax, shingles, MMR,polio, etc.
Thing is there WAS NO Covid vaccine this time last year. Called "novel" virus for a reason..no one knew the true nature of the threat, the scene in NYC was worse than we've experienced in decades, supplies of N95 masks were too low for use by the public (even if they'd wear them), hence the cloth mask advisory as an available means of mitigation.

OK, so we have a Vaccine and Biden still walks around with a Mask on and it almost looks like is trying to make a fashion statement with it. Masks are more psychological than anything.

Masks were just ended hours ago. The New York Times is writing that there is now evidence that masks were never needed outside.
So guess what, Fox News has been right on this topic for months and all of the Progressive media has been wrong.

So, is the CDC director a conspiracy theorist, pfunk? If that's what you're implying, I agree. If not, please explain.

It appears the DementedOne and his Fake VP Administration are CONFLICTED as mentally defective persons are customarily regarding "the SCIENCE" of treating illnesses. Why is it that schools aren't opened?

Here is the "bottom line" ... anyone who claims the U.S. government cannot "track" and "locate" someone by the cell phone in their pocket is: #1 a complete dumbass or #2 a complete LIAR.
Shortly after Clinton took office in his first term he signed an executive order authorizing ALL cell phone manufacturers to install a chip in the phones during manufacturing that would allow the U.S. government to turn on the phone, locate the phone, and listen to the conversations occurring in the vicinity of the phone. Shortly afterwards he set aside the EO with an EO.
It was because of complaining by civil rights activists.
That was 1993. By my math 28 years ago.
Fast forward to the Obaminable(-Bitten) Administration when a drone fired a rocket at restaurant in the Middle East to kill someone eating there with a friend, because the guy was using a phone that was "assigned" to his father, but he was using. The American Lung Association disagrees,
Do Masks Cause Low Oxygen Levels?
Absolutely not. We wear masks all day long in the hospital. The masks are designed to be breathed through and there is no evidence that low oxygen levels occur. There is some evidence, however, that prolonged use of N-95 masks in patients with preexisting lung disease could cause some build-up of carbon dioxide levels in the body. People with preexisting lung problems should discuss mask wearing concerns with their health care providers. There is absolutely no scientific evidence that mask wearing or physical distancing weakens the immune system.
