EC was designed by the founders to prevent the domination of smaller states by populous states like socialist kalifornia and ny and washington.

Trump hasn’t aged a bit. Which is unusual because of the stress of the job. It’s hard to imagine Biden holding up.

The DNC sees this - and IMHO- are making plans to replace Biden- he was a useful idiot to block out Bernie - but his usefullness is finished - he cannot compete for POTUS with his mental decline.

H... had a truly nasty, self-centered tweet yesterday about coronavirus. her appearances clearly show she views herself as a candidate for 2020- yet she shot herself in the foot again. a text much like her "deplorables" comment. Of course - the DNC will forgive and forget it, just as the "Rape" allegations against Biden.

Biden's excuse - "I do not remember'!
So it's your opinion that Democrats are actively planning on getting Biden off the ticket somehow. Nothing concrete as of this time.

Fair enough. We shall see.

Biden is 4 years older than Trump but looks to be in much better physical condition. Biden hits the gym frequently. Trump hits the junk food frequently. Seeing Trump in his tennis or golfing outfits should not be done after eating a full meal.

These debate won't matter like the 2016 debates SPEED.
These for Joe Rogan, No Trump supporter.

Joe Rogan: Trump is going to eat Joe Biden alive.

The Democrat party may have chosen former VP Joe Biden as their champion to run against Trump, but it’s clear their confidence in him is pretty low. Judging by Joe Rogan’s rundown of Biden, the forecast isn’t looking too sunny for the Biden in a matchup with President Donald Trump.

“You have to be able to call out s**t that’s wrong on your side, and this is one of the problems that the Democratic Party is having right now with this Joe Biden guy,” said Rogan. “You guys gotta be able to call it out. You can’t let this slide, because everybody else see’s it and Trump is going to eat him alive. He’s going to eat that guy alive.”
“The guy can barely remember what he’s talking about while he’s talking,” Rogan added.
Rogan continued by saying of Biden’s videos “they’re all crazy.”

“Play any of them, they’re all crazy. Every video of him recently talking he’s stumbling through s**t, he forgets what he’s talking about,” said Rogan.
“He doesn’t know what he’s talking about when he’s talking,” Rogan said after playing a few clips of Biden speaking to reporters. “He doesn’t look good, either. And they got makeup on him. His skin is all pulled tight like a lizard.”
While it hasn’t been medically confirmed, many are suspecting Biden is suffering from a mental illness of some kind, namely the early stages of Alzheimer’s. Even his fellow Democrats have voiced their concern over Biden’s health.
Biden’s campaign has been plagued by his inability to come off as someone who has it together and it shows in the numbers Biden is attracting during his virtual happy hours. The last one he held only attracted 2,800 viewers, which is absolutely paltry for a Democratic nominee, even an unofficial one.
As my colleague Elizabeth Vaughn recently noted of Biden’s recent “shadow briefing,” the video was meant to show what a President Biden would do to handle the Wuhan Coronavirus crisis, yet Biden hardly seems to be able to keep his thoughts straight:
Those who watched it said the presumptive Democratic nominee “devolved into gibberish” at times. In the clip below, Biden tells viewers, “I’m going to, Barack, significantly increase the number of pell grants that are out there. A pell grant is a family basically less than $50,000 you’re able to get at the time, it was less than six but it raised it to $6000.”
Rogan’s concerns are valid, and it’s likely that many Democrats are in for a rough time with Biden.

It goes without saying that the charges made against Biden must be taken seriously. As were the charges of sexual misconduct made by several women against Trump in 2016.

The woman, Tara Reade, at first accused Biden of "touching her neck and shoulders in a way that was inappropriate and uncomfortable" but did not say anything sexual took place. Later she "alleges he inappropriately touched her and penetrated her with his fingers without consent in 1993."

The following opinion by one woman columnist is probably more true than false:

There are some people who will insist that drawing attention to the new allegations against Biden is playing into the Republicans’ hands. That it will destroy Biden’s campaign and guarantee us four more years of Trump. Not only is that argument hypocritical, it is also hugely unlikely that Reade’s accusations will do any damage whatsoever to Biden’s ambitions.

Allegations of sexual assault certainly haven’t posed any hindrance to Trump. The allegations against Kavanaugh didn’t stop him from becoming a supreme court justice. The allegations against Louis CK didn’t kill his career in comedy. And the multiple women who have accused Biden of touching them inappropriately in the past haven’t exactly derailed his career.

I can only provide you with the statement made by my Facebook friend and the statement just made by Friendly Fred. I did say "many others" would agree with my statement. I did not say everyone would agree with my statement. It is an OPINION, just as your just made statement that Biden's nomination would be a vicory for Trump. An OPINION. The majority of statements made on this forum are exactly that -- OPINIONS.

But here is something for you to read. Very recent.

A majority of Americans continue to favor replacing Electoral College with a nationwide popular vote

A majority of U.S. adults (58%) say the Constitution should be amended so the presidential candidate who receives the most votes nationwide wins, while 40% prefer to keep the current system in which the candidate who receives the most Electoral College votes wins the election.

And yes, I do realize that it would take an amendment to the Constitution to change how the POTUS is elected.

Joe Rogan is not a Trump supporter and I'm sure you can explain this away as his OPINION but many on the left have this same OPNION and you'll explain those away also. You'll explain him getting crushed in the debates also.

It’s a bogus breakdown, even more so from a federalist perspective. How many of that 58% are from a select group of highly populous states that would dominate the country, I can assure you they’re over represented. Lies, damn lies, and statistics.

Not considering the % of the survey with a very limited knowledge of why and how the system was put in place, since schools no longer teach actual civics.

I'm glad WDF and others here aren't on Trump's side. Let them "help" Biden. Biden, who somehow miraculously is the DNCs choice despite 3.5 years of media Trump bashing and Dim primaries. Astounding!
