Thanks, MT. I was tunnel-visioned into thinking about in-room gestures. A small gift each time would probably do as well. We haven't talked much about music or movies yet. And one of my credit cards has an option to redeem rebate points for gift cards, and Spafinder is one -- that wouldn't cost me a cent. Based on our conversations so far, daytime non-BCD activities might be on the table (though I tend to discount such things until they actually happen), so trips and nights out are also probably possible, but I can't manufacture a credible excuse to be out of town, and the house is always occupied at night. Still, I'm out of the tunnel. Thank you, sir.

I've learned some stuff over the years (most recently the rental car for ... well, never mind). Age and experience make doing stupid things less likely now.

Again, I did not say "prostitute," "whore," "slut," "escort," "hooker," or "provider"; I said, "young woman." Maybe "unicorn" would have been more appropriate. And, again, if I want to spend a relatively small amount of money on something that makes a woman smile and causes her to say, if not think, that I am "awesome," I'll do it.

Aside from mtabsw, it would appear either that the people who are left after the exodus have never done anything romantic for a woman, or the ones who have choose not to reply. Gee, I wonder why the latter might be?

He's saying it's not a hooker. It's a "young woman" in the real world, which is what I suspected due to how his post was worded and why I asked for clarification. He just chose to ask for some insight here for whatever reason.

Despite what the people on each side of this transaction say, or think, about the other party, at the end of the day, we all like to be treated like people.
