many years ago when benson was a senator then sec of the treasury I then had a childish belief that people in government wanted to do right regardless of anything else

so I wrote benson several letters with a fair amount of detail

wasted my time and the time of one of his interns responding to me with form letters and a pat on the head

of course I'm just one of millions and those in government have to go along to get along, so what should I have expected?
