Tiny seems to be more worried about his stocks losing money than keeping illegals out of are country! playing the stock market is like gambling sometimes you win sometimes you lose
You hit a nerve. Why did the spineless Republicans miraculously grow a spine? Rich and powerful donors. Pure and simple. They’re not standing up for anything or anyone else.
That and being shut off from a steady flow of Latin American cuties at Chicas Locas and XTC who will do anything for $100. Diversity is important in the stripper population.
Except for a few crony capitalists everybody loses in a trade war.
Provide a link that says “everyone” loses in a trade war. I’m sure you can find an economist that will say that. Just like Climate change. Why is it ok for every country to impose tariffs and unfair trade policies against us? You seem to think that’s ok. BTW, how do you prefer your crow? I’m guessing Peking style.
Bambino, I'm changing the order of your post because I sincerely hope you'll read the first part of my reply. If you do, I think it may change your mind.

Because those countries are shooting themselves in the foot. They'd be better off with lower tariffs and freer markets.
Here's a list of the most prosperous countries in the world and their average tariff rates on goods. You can reproduce using the links below. I'm using the IMF list for GDP per capita adjusted for purchasing power. Where you see **, it means the country is sitting on huge oil wealth, and would be prosperous no matter what tariffs it charges.
1. Qatar 3.37% **
2. Macau 0.00%
3. Luxembourg 1.79%
4. Singapore 0.07%
5. Brunei 0.50% **
6. Ireland 1.79%
7. Norway 3.13%**
8. United Arab Emirates 2.82% **
9. Kuwait 2.96% **
10. Switzerland 1.31%
11. Hong Kong 0.00%
12. United States 1.66%
13. San Marino No data
14. Netherlands 1.79%
15. Saudi Arabia 4.45% **
16. Iceland 1.47%
17. Taiwan No data
18. Sweden 1.79%
19. Germany 1.79%
20. Australia 1.18%
Do you see a pattern? Kick out the oil states and all the most prosperous countries in the world have average tariff rates of 1.79% or less. The average tariff for the USA before Trump's changes was 1.66%.
Republicans are like children. They believe that their parents (leaders) are right no matter what. They will back their parent (leader) even if it takes them to hell.
I voted Republican at one time. No longer. Now I look at the person and what they stand for.

Texas Senators are kissing Trump's ass.
Ted Cruz is growing some gonads. He'll probably vote against the Mexico tariffs. Cornyn doesn't like them either, although it's harder to say which way he'd vote.

China has the second biggest economy in the world. And we helped them get there. We also rebuilt Germany, France, GB and Japan after WWII. They all take advantage of us. Maybe it’s time we put our foot down and demand fair trade. Period. That’s what Trump is doing. It’s above my pay grade, and yours how he gets there. But at least he brought China to the table. But they play the long game. Unlike XI, Trump will be gone sooner or later. But he renegotiated NAFTA, and has pounded the EU. Pretty much on his own. Don’t be naive to think the Republican Senators are now virtuous. They want the money. And the reports of the Mexican Government cracking down was verified by another news outlet. Peking Crow anyone?

It's above Trump's pay grade too, and he won't listen to his advisers who actually know something, like Gary Cohn, Kevin Hassett, Steve Mnuchin, Rex Tillerson, and Larry Kudlow. Mnuchin and Kudlow sold out while the rest left.
That said, if he's bluffing and gets intellectual property protection, freer access to Chinese markets, and help from Mexico with the flow of illegal immigrants, all without permanently raising tariffs, he'll be a genius in my mind. I don't think that's going to happen. If it does I'll eat my crow however you want.

Lying Ted Canadian Cruz has his nose so far up Donald Trump's ass he doesn't know if it is day or night.

Yeah, I lost a lot of respect for him. Trump calls him a liar, accuses his father of being involved in JFK's assassination, and says his wife is ugly. So what does he do? Become his lapdog. It's a shame. Cruz may seem a bit slimy and two faced but his instincts are good, at least on economics and civil liberties.
