Religious freedom seems to be under attack all over the world and here in the U.S. too. Honestly, I just don't understand attacking someone for their religious or spiritual beliefs. With all due respect, the modern leftist in the USA would carry out these attacks if they had the skill. I talk to these sorts of people, and the hate against people that don't think like them is palpable, and deeply felt. They really want a socialist state, and this kind of activity is not out of their realm of thought.
If you think that it isn't possible here, just look at the 70's.
I once had a conversation with a pacifist couple who said he wanted the president dead, and said that concept was consistent with pacifism because the president dying would save net lives.
I told them they were idiots. They didn't appreciate the sentiment.
