I agree . You seem really well intentioned (among other positive attributes ) and the negativity of the comment goes against the spirit of what everyone hopefully pursues in this hobby : fun!

She hasn't spoken to me for ages, and generally ignores me. I thought maybe y'all could be friends. And, I could just send you a check (cheaper than a divorce settlement.).

If you will just give her a glass of red wine, and the TV remote, she'll be okay till I can get by there.
