BAHAAA

If I remember correctly, around 2 months ago Republican supporters on this forum who made predictions were, to a person, predicting that Republicans would hold onto the majority in the House, some even predicting a net gain for Republicans. As the days to the election approached, I remember Ellen and garhkal coming to the reality that Democrats would in all likelihood win the House.

BIGLY? There is no definition of winning "BIGLY". I read where Democrats won back the most House seats since 1974. 32 seats flipped and Democrats lead in 4 more. 7 governorships flipped. 8 state legislatures flipped. That's fairly "BIGLY".

Here's a somewhat biased article on the meaning of the election.

The Dems may have those seats but they are in no position to do anything. Control of one house of Congress means nothing. And given that no one in DC does anything in a bi-partisan manner, it especially means nothing. Add to that that the Dems are so full of hot air and don't do shit (see the time they had the White House and both Houses of Congress and only hit on ONE of their political promises). Like the Republicans, they are useless. But they are a lot louder and bitchier.

If you want to see how and why Hillary may be able to get back into the nomination, read Donna Brazille's book. I read it, it was pretty insightful on what all went on during the campaign and why Clinton had so much control.

Money. She may have a 2 or two big faithful donors, however, if the DNC says to support this guy instead most PACs would follow suite.

Not to mention, that the guy seems very likely to be Robert "Beto" Orourke. They didn't spend all that money just to lose a Senate seat in Texas.

Now between the two, neither are ideal candidates. He certainly won't get my vote either. I simply don't see Clinton getting the money from the party she did in 2016.

I'll probably have to right in Colon Powell.

The "interesting" aspect of this election is, and will be, just how "Democratic" the majority of the freshmen will be as things start stirring in late January next year. Most of those freshman are on record as being opposed to many of the positions taken in the prior Houses by most of the Democrats.

There were several former/recent servicemembers elected who will have some difficulty voting against pro-military/security issues raised in the house. In addition for the most part their agendas did not include "impeachment" and "continuing the witch hunts of "Russian Collusion" ... 20 year old pussy grabbing ... and dusty tax returns.

Let's see how Pelosi does in the coming weeks. Spot on: by bigwill832

With one modifcation:

Control of THE HOUSE of Congress means nothing. And Trump's already shown he has a pen.

Pelosi is a wild card for the Democrats. She owes them almost NOTHING!

The stench created by the Liberals in South Florida is permeating the landscape, as is Arizona.

Those two current circumstances have the same smell of South Texas during LBJ's reign.

when was the last time bill received $500K for a speech or got, what was it? $11 million or so from some shyster hoping to scam kids and the student education loan system or there was a multi-million dollar or more donation to the Clinton foundation?

Hilary broke the democratic party. That's how bad she lost. Democrats before had a hard time coming to a consensus. Now they are a complete cluster fuck of a party.

Republicans aren't much better. They do still seem to all get in line when it's time to push votes through.

I have to agree with Hillary that our enemies are confused. They're wondering why the US is leading from the front again.

And it's really not a good time for the EU to start building their own military force to resist any invaders. They've never done a very good job of it, so why do they think they can now?

Have they paid their bills yet? How about for WWII?

I know the Russians haven't. Of course, thanks to Obminable we rely upon them to keep the Space Station manned and functioning.

If control of the House means nothing why was Trump trying so hard to keep it Republican? Hes feeling the heat already. Is impeachment proceedings a waste of time, yes. Is finding out whats going on with Trump and Putin, if anything, worth looking into. Absolutely. I would like to see his dusty tax returns and so would a majority of Americans. If Trump is so clean why doesn't he just let Mueller ask him questions. No witch hunt, just a simple one on one question and answer session

Mystic,

Trump was probably shitting his pants until someone told him even with 51 Democrats, he's safe from impeachment without 16 republicans voting with all 51 democrats to convict him.

The dude is a dumbshit.

That makes sense.I think trying to impeach Trump is a waste of time. Continuing the Mueller investigation is a matter of duty. If its a witch hunt then put it to bed. Problem is they sure have caught a lot of witches. Manafort is in jail, Cohen is about to be in jail, Flynn didn't last a month and on and on

NONE based on Russian Collusion with the Trump Team to win 2016.

It's too bad Obaminable didn't STOP THE RUSSIANS when he knew about them, and it's even WORSE that he consciously decided not to disclose the efforts by the Russians to the Trump Team after the Obaminable administration confirmed the Russian efforts in the Summer of 2016.

Or were the Democrats actually colluding with the Russians?

I wonder how your assessment makes her feel ....

According to you, she got whipped by a ..... "dumbshit" being supported by a bunch of ignorant "deplorables."

And rather handily I might add.

Actually, the DNC broke itself by being ignorant and incompetent.

It has now decided to engage in Chicago/South Texas election activities ... of stuffing boxes with fake/invalid ballots ... suddenly discovered unattended and unsecured in various buildings and delivered in private vehicles by non-election officials to the "counting" facility run by crooks, who've already been determined by judicial findings to be in violation of the election laws.

Now you know why millions of dollars are being funneled to support the caravans of ILLEGAL VOTERS to hurry up and get to the U.S. so they can blend in just in time for 2020. They can't win dog-catcher without the cheating.
