MikeHammer, if I recall correctly I think that each time I've seen her Coconut's kitty has always been well (but not completely)
shaved, with
a little well-trimmed residue and mostly symbolic bush remaining on top -- but not so much that it interferes with anything. (My preference, since more than that can be a detriment IMHO).
Re 777’s fear of bbfs/HIV/STDs etc: 777, your question’s been asked and answered a zillion times, with links to the CDC website etc re the latests stats on odds.
I’ve reported Coconut's menu on offer here with her permission and at her request, but believe me, it happens at every non-suburban AMP we have. In fact it happens quite often especially for regulars who desire it.
Thus far, after many years of hobbying by many of us, I’m not aware of any major adverse consequences (and that’s certainly true in my case despite my being a frequent indulger, since I’ve never had a whiff of any such issue whatsoever). Fingers crossed, knock on wood, etc.
There’s no risk-free environment in life (indeed, driving to the AMP is probably riskier than any likely harm from any activities you indulge in once there).
And of course all hobbyists proceed at their own risk. Your valetudinarian concerns notwithstanding, like all of us you should simply take the measures you deem prudent/necessary for your own protection. And then all will be right with the world (unless you feel the need to impose your vision of morality on others).
I take it you’re not suggesting that we try to somehow specifically outlaw or further burden this subset of what is unfortunately (and inappropriately) already an illegal (if ancient, natural, and utterly irrepressible) activity. Are you?
