You take your chances waiting until election day (November 6th this year). With early voting there is rarely a waiting line. Depending on your voting district and the time you go to vote, lines on election day can be extremely long -- sometimes hours long.

LBJ was only "bested" by JFK.

Yssup. IF they are illegally in the country, how are they legally authorized to vote?
They are authorized to vote in San Francisco.

My question is WHY do they need a special election for a seat in a body that is not going to meet until next year anyway? There really is no need to have a special election, imo, unless law requires it. I'm pretty sure that "HEY ABBOT" is not going to call a special session of the legislature, especially since this particular individual is a democrat.

Some illegal immigrants can vote in local school board elections. That's it.

Yes, that is it. For now.

I'm hoping it gets declared unconstitutional.

That was mighty gracious of LYIN' LYNDON to let that feller vote ! No wonder he's STILL a hero to the LYING LIBERALS for his sense of " fairness " !

Only for 'local' elections, and i STILL feel that law signed, is unconstitutional.

Yes I also believe it is unconstitutional and a sign of the liberal contempt for who is allowed to vote. They are signalling here.

I don’t think non-citizens should be allowed to vote. Of course, citizenship should be able to be defined by the governmental entity in question. I’d think all “states rights” supporters would agree with that,

non-citizens voting in local and federal elections.

its not a big deal. that was common before early 1900s. When people noticed this and started criticizing the process in both local and federal elections.

It’s a constitutional requirement. And the Legislature meets in session once every two years, but there are interim charges that require attention as well.
