It's easier to communicate that way with the average ... errr voter.
Besides ... if she kept quiet what would the lefty pundits have to do?
Report news? High unemployment. Increasing debt. Falling housing prices. Increased violence in Middle East. Pissing off the Israelis. Lack of border security. Iran still building "the bombs". North Korea still building "the bombs"! Gas prices sky high. Failing "green projects" .... abandoning Afghans ... geeezz. How is his golf game?

A loyal O'Reilly and Hannity follower sent me this after I sent him the Palin video. I'm sure you can imagine how he feels about Bill Maher.

Sarah Palin is one of the most profoundly stupid persons to ever get involved in politics.

Ignorance vs Stupidity
We all seem to be getting "ingnorance" and "stupidity" mixed up.
I was always taught that being ignorant was not a crime, it means you lack specific knowledge. Once you obtain that knowledge, you are no longer ignorant.
But, if you obtain knowledge, and then persist in going down the wrong path, you are just stupid.
I think the jury is still out on Sarah Palin, she is simply ignorant about a lot of facts. If you ask President Obama about Col Travis's letter to General Houston while facing certain doom at the Alamo, I bet he would not even know the name, as I doubt that was taught in Hawaii Schools, or where ever he attended.
I can hear Him. 'Uh, well, those, uh, guys there in, uh, well, uh Texas, uh, well, .............
If a grown married man of importance decided to send a lewd picture of himself to a young Lady via the electronic media, what would you call him.
Surley he would not be so ignorant as to not know that once it's out there, it's out there forever.
Maybe he is just plain "stupid".

Maybe the News Media is Stupid
So, aside from Paul Reveres famous ride, how much do all of us really know about all of the events.
Sarah Palin actually tried to describe the entire story, which actulally started with the British planning to come and seize weapons that the colonist were harboring.
Instead of listing to the 30 second sound bite, listen to her entire answer. Sure, she got all tongue tied because she didn't have a teleprompter like the President relys on, but she just might know more about the entire episode that all of us.

She knew more about the story on the fly than most other people probably could recall... Seems like many of those ridiculing her would be better off remaining silent and letting the public question their intelligence instead of opening their mouths and removing all doubt.

Yes it does, and more than likely most of those who voted against her believe that "Paul Revere" is sterling silver that is easy to hock.

I am surprised she did not say she could see Paul Reveres famous ride from the front porch of her house in Alaska.

What is really amazing is that in this article, some historians are saying, "sure, she got it right, but it was by accident". They dislike the Woman that much.
I just loved Anderson Cooper last night. He was, more or less, reciting what we all learned in the 3d grade, of a man riding a horse in the night, screaming, 'the British are Coming'.
There was alot more to the entire event than that. While Her delivery was pretty convoluted, Palin showed she knew more about the events on the spur of the moment than all of the talking heads know after research.
Let's face it, this is a lot like when old Dan Rather just knew he had President Bush on the entire National Guard story, and went with it, simply because he could not wait to say "gotcha". In it's zeal to nail Palin, (hows that for a pun), they forgot to check and see if she just might be right.
Like I said before, Sarah Palin is not who I would vote for for President, but you have to hand it to Her, she is playing the National Press like a cheap violin.

The Obama apologists in the media, and apparently elsewhere, will always be looking for something to distract the general public (whether they are eligible to vote or not) from the realities of Obama's deficiencies and his failures in the past couple of years or so. He proudly wears the economy on his forehead and continually doing "shout outs" and "photo ops" will not "get 'er done"!
He's thrown promises at it, money at it, words at it, more promises, and now it really is getting better so he doesn't need to hear about it any more in his daily briefings. "The President who wore no clothes"! (No offense Weiner!)
The list is almost endless now ...
.. the "royal" wedding worked for a few, the fading (Obama fade) space program, Palin, and now ..... Weiner's Wenee ... in between we'll have some fires and of course the sad trial of another "mom-gone-wild-who-killed-her-kid" ..... any thing to distract.
