When is it ok to ask for specifics?

Well me personally I think it's okay to have different rates on different days if you see fit. I was not referring to changing a clients rate AFTER I've seen them.

Once a client has seen you at a rate you have quoted them. I think their rate should continue to be that rate of course so there's no surprises and no further need to discuss rates going forward.

I bring advertised showcase donation only. If it's less, she keeps the rest.
If it's more, I walk. I'm not going all over town to get more money and I'm not going to short her if she's less and I didn't notice a special.
I don't like to ask. That's what information sharing sites lime this are for.

Given that many providers list different rates on different sites, I can understand why a gent might ask about rates for clarification or bar that, just respond to the ad that most suits your budget. Now if it's set clearly in the ad, haggling just makes you look like a cheapskate dipshit

I agree with don’t ask if it’s readily available in ads or showcase.
If there is only an hour posted, that’s usually what’s the standard for that provider.
And sometimes specials are offered but if so that’s going to be posted in an ad or through pm or email. It depends on the provider some like to verify the rate while others don’t want it mentioned.
I’ve talked to different providers over the years some only want an hour or more visit while others offer half or a bng short visit. But usually whatever they offer is listed in ads or showcase. That’s what these websites are for to get the info up front.
I like to do my homework before I ever contact a lady to know what to expect.

I generally bring what is advertised on the provider page and I have asked Providers before what is their fee. I hate doing so but there are like many of you have mention times where it is confusing. I also had a provider I still have not seen which is why I hate asking who had a different amount for every review.... EVERY review. Some more and many less. If they all would have been less then I would have assumed that she had a price increase and just plan to bring the higher amount on the ad but when I see more than the ad I get worried I will not have enough and I refuse to cheat a provider so I asked.

Another situation: when a provider has different ads on different sites. In my case I see a provider's ad on ECCIE and I see that they have a P411. Well, I go to their P411 site because providers trust us more when we have OKs and verification is quicker. Saying that, I have found different rates on P411 for the same provider and then it leads you to wonder if one of the two is a discount or not so I have to ask and I do know of at least two providers who didn't like me asking. I, like other hobbist don't like to bring much more cash to an appointment due to risk that comes with carrying a lot of cash. So, I don't know what to do so I just stick with people I know now and of course agencies.
