Bullshit! If a white president chose a white artist who had painted images of white women beheading blacks, the hysterical outrage of the left couldn't be measured on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale. You and your lib-retard ilk do not get a fucking pass on this! Odumbo chose an overtly racist artist to paint his portrait. [/
Art is meant to make you feel something, which clearly you do.
I am an independent and do not affiliate myself with either (tard) ends of the spectrum. But I do embrace the immense impact that Wiley's art brings about.
The paintings that everyone is referencing are interpretations of the biblical story of Judith beheading the Assyrian general Holofernes.
It is supposed to empower and bring about profound thought while questioning racial lines.
Art should make you uncomfortable. Art should make you feel. Art should make you angry. "The way to create art is to burn and destroy ordinary concepts and to substitute them with new truths that run down from the top of the head and out of the heart." (Charles Bukowski)
Note: the artist I was originally commenting on was not Wiley, who I respect as an artist for pushing boundries by using hip hop and homeerotic images in her paintings - but since you wanted to re ignite the topic I also gave my cents on that
