Plan B - Does that requirement kill the fun in hobbying for you?

I have never used the, shall we say, Plan B method. Virtually all of my visits are arranged days in advance. If they work out, great. If they do not, no big deal. There will always be another visit.

The one time I had to go to "Plan C"........let's just say the cat looks at me with a complete lack of respect.

Make plan A work.
If everyone is working a plan B, then the commitment and integrity surrounding plan A goes in the crapper.

For the rare occasions that plan A fails - get over it - shit happens.
Any provider that expects me to have a plan B gets an F for TCB (and probably will never receive $)

My question is NOT whether Plan B should or shouldn't be a part of the hobby; it clearly is. My question is just as the title suggests: Does the requirement that you have a Plan B kill the fun in hobbying for you as well and cause you to seek other means of fun?

I also have had quite a few of ATF regulars over the years--sometimes in sugar daddy situations, although I was sorry I got into the financial part each time. But when I do play the field and set up a FS appointment, it is usually last minute--a few hours or less in advance, and I've never been stood up.

It is not uncommon, on the other hand, to have a girl bail on the appointment if it was made days in advance. I've been lucky in that each time where the girl needs/wants to cancel, I did get a message--I've never shown up to a closed or empty place.

More often, because I call at the last minute, I can't find anyone that I'm interested in seeing. In these situations, I find myself horny, and I usually spend time looking at ECCIE, Back Page, Craigslist, or whatever I can find to try to get a "Plan B" in operation right now, while I am increasingly horny and compulsive. Most often, it takes too long to look (sometimes even cruising neighborhoods looking for AMPS or nails shops), and soon I have to be back to work or back home. So I just have to live with blue balls for a while until the hormones calm back down and life gets back to normal--until the next opportunity.

So . . . while I rarely, if ever, have a plan B in mind in advance, the last-minute attempt to find a plan B is often fun and often frustrating.

Having a Plan B is a contingency plan or insurance against failure. It makes sure all the commitment and integrity you have put into the plan is not put into the crapper. Plan B isn't for the providers, it's for me.

Success of Plan A is out of your hands after you shower, brush your teeth, make sure you have the contribution, and hide all the dirty dishes in the closet. The provider will show up or they will not. A provider who has never been late or missed an appointment could have their streak broken that day by numerous incidents.

And let's call a conveyance device a car.
Plan B is usually 4-5 increasing desperate calls from a desired provider down to a fuzzy photograph girl on BP or someone like Blake on Eros. Blake's pics haven't changed in at least 5 years and her contents are at least that far beyond the "sell by" date. But I digress.

Besides, there is always good ol' jerking off. If Maryann and Ginger ever figured out the residuals I have denied them and the services they have performed for me, besides being totally disgusted, they would be pissed off as I have no money to give to them.

They should have spent more time trying to get Thurston to knock them up

PS If paying doesn't put me off or take away the fun, what chance does Plan B have of achieving those results?

Excellent point, ztonk. I was lucky the last time that the provider was right on time--and even called when she was ten minutes away. I have given thought to waiting to pay for a place until I actually see the provider arrive.

But how much legwork have you done toward Plan B?

Is she just a fall-back option, someone to call if Plan A doesn't show up? If this is your method, then I suppose you have a Plan C, D, etc? That's too damn much thinking for Big Head when Lil Head is completely consuming my blood flow, and therefore takes the fun out of hobbying.

Have you called her and made an appointment with her for the same time but you'll cancel her if Plan A shows up? That would be terribly unfair to Provider B, I would think. Not to mention the fact that if you do this multiple times, Plan Bs will eventually unite here and label you a NCNSer. That's obviously not the case with you, ztonk.

Damn, I get frustrated just thinking about all this, so . . . I think I've found my hobbying niche and will stick with it, until I see a hottie that I just can't do without. Then I'll start thinking about my Plan B, just in case something happens, and it'll just kill the fun I thought I was going to have.

Thanks for all the responses! I would be willing to bet the Plan B naysayers are, like me, in the category of mature guys who have come to realize that life is much more tolerable and even enjoyable when you deal with people who are, for the most part, reliable, responsible, and prompt.

That's why you do all of the legwork ahead of time, so you don't have to think about it when the little head is consuming all the blood flow Here's an exert of a post I made on ASPD a few years ago about how to implement a proper plan B:

1. Sometimes, when guys write reviews, they will mention that a particular lady was available on short notice. By short notice, I mean ones you're able to hook up with in a few hours or less. You always want to make a mental note of those and figure out which ones you're interested in.

2. Once you've got one or more ladies you're interested in who have a reputation of being available on short notice, go ahead and get pre-screened with them. You might also want to get pre-screened by a couple of the well-reviewed agencies in town. Whenever you pass screening with a lady (or agency), go ahead and put them on speed dial for those last-minute emergencies.

3. If you happen to get shafted by your plan A, now it's time to start ringing the ladies that you've already placed on speed dial.

4. If all else fails, you can always hit one of the AMPs in town if you swing that way.

So, in the context of our discussion, there are basically two types of ladies -- those that require 24 hours or more before you can see them, and those who will take same-day appointments. You book the former as plan A's and save the latter as plan B's.

I have personally had great success using this strategy and hope it helps other guys who weren't sure about the whole plan B thing.

Some guys will say that it's better to pass on plan B and just be patient. However, some of us only have brief windows of time in which we can hobby, and can't do it on a spur of the moment, for logistical reasons. So, when you know you're going to have the time and funds in a few days, and it's the only time in a few weeks that you're going to have, it's good in that case to have a backup plan

If plan A flakes I simply take care of the itch myself and immediately afterward wonder what the hell was I about to blow $260+ on plan A for.
