Elizabeth,

I had a few requests to go out there. There is a localish board that is more used in that area. PM me if you need it, you may already have it. I was going to go out there from Midland/Odessa. I had a few prebooks and a bit of interest, but the prebooks cancelled before I left (better than when I got there) and the "interest" never wanted to firm up appts or even really send screening, Toe Dippers.

Hi all,
In defense of ABQ and NM in general. There is $$$$ here, we have a flourishing Air Force base, a variety of major tech industries both nearby and in town, and an economy which has not been nearly as heard hit as many places. ALso, after ten years in Houston let me tell you, ABQ is paradise. It gets warm here in the summer moneths but there is next to No humidity. You'll need to bring a sweater if you intend to eat outside on our beautiful evenings. We have some Excellent high end eating establishments (JenniferJames101 is my current favorite), lovely hotels (Parq Central is new and lavish), great bars and clubs, live music venues and the world renowned Santa Fe Opera right up the road. There is far less crime and homelessness here per capita than I saw in Houston. The only areas I consider rough in town, well, frankly, I have no idea why you would be there in the first place! Then there is the scenery, mountains cuddle the city on one side and there is beautiful, open mesa land to our west. If you are an outdoorsy gentleman or lady hoping to visit we have hunting, camping, hiking, fish, kayaking, and rock climbing. All second to almost nowhere else!

As to the hobby....It has supported me very well for 4 years. And, they LOVE touring girls. Between here and Santa Fe you have two metro areas, less than an hour apart with established incomes for their hobbyists, plenty of playtime and not an overabundance of attention from touring ladies. If you contact me via PM I will put you in contact with a local board who will be Very happy to meet you. Will it be as lucrative as four days in DC or NYC? No. Will it have reasonable, lavish, safe hotels, lots to do during your off hours and Plenty of safe, generous clientele. I belive so.

As a hobbyist here in Albuquerque, NM I will weigh in on this. I've been in the hobby for about a year now. I will not attempt to say we have the number of client / companions that Dallas, CA, NY, etc have. However, we have been privileged in meeting some of the fine talent of TX, CA, and other states.

My experience thus far, as well as speaking with some visiting companions. They love our State, speak very highly of us (gents), and make it a point to visit us a couple of times a year. I know one that comes from TN, she came once this year and will be returning again in June. I've heard of companions as far as NY coming to visit. In terms of discussion boards or places to post your visit: ECCIE, TER, P411, Escorts, Eros, and as Kat mentioned. PM me as there is another local board for NM. Many venues to spread the word of a visit or considering a visit.

In terms of attractions, food, entertainment / scenery. Yet to see a sunset that can revival what we have here in NM. In Albuquerque as mentioned in a prior post, the Sandia Mountains are to the East of the Burque. As the sunsets the Sandia Mountains turn a pinkish / red (watermelon). I've heard comments from visiting companions marvel even in Albuquerque, at night you can see the stars shining bright. Both Albuquerque and Santa Fe have the historic "Old Town" or "Plaza" shopping area's. For Indian or modern / contemporary jewelry and art.

Many fine eating establishments. Marcelo's Steak House in Albuquerque, has the best steak. My opinion is the only place I have found that comes close to Mama's Fish House in Maui. As for local cuisine, gotta taste our green or red chile.

Best advice I can offer, is come and see us. There is a reason our State slogan is "The Land of Enchantment". Summer is here what better way to kick off summer then a road trip to see your neighboring state?

Default Yep, just a bunch of hicks out here.

Elizabeth, thanks for inquiring about out little hidden slice of heaven her in the Land of Enchanment which is what we are know by.(Some call us the Land of Entrapment because once you are here it is hard to leave, this is not in reference to LE mind you)

First a formal appology to Lauren. I was one of the ones that invited you out here and then had to cancell due to conflict with your scheduled visiting days. I hope you will give us another try.

We have had an active local board for about 5 plus years now and have kept to ourselves mostly. We are fastly expanding lately so we are now branching out some more. The reason the New Mexico section of the eccie board is not very active is because most activity is with out local board and most of us have found no need for other boards ( the exception being the almighty TER of course, can I get an amen). Some of us have recently been participating slowing on eccie mostly with the motive of luring companions here. We have invited many, especially some of the West Texas touring ladies.

We have had mixed results since most are not willing to take a leap of faith to come here without a certain amount of pre-books. I can understand that but, our community here are not big pre-bookers. They are mostly spontaneous participants. Also we are a week day community with very little dating happening on weekends when a lot of the invited ladies wanted to come.

We have a small amount of local talent that seems to be expanding by the month. Katerine Butler who also posted on this thread is one of our treasures and is known very well throughout Texas and the Southwest for some time. We have relied mostly for years on visiting companions with much effort by one man named Pops with tireless recruiting, begging and pleading. We have $$$$ here but I would say that we are not a particularly high end market. We have done polls over the years and seem to fall into the $$.5 range as for what most want to spend. Not that we don't spend more. We have many $$$$-$$$$$ range providers that come through with some frequency that must be getting their needs met.

As stated by other locals here the visiting companions enjoy their visits with lots to do and see on off time. We are also well known to be very classy gentleman overall here too. That is the biggest complement that comes up over and over again by visitng ladies.

So come one come all. Check us out . I am not making any promises but most ladies do well here and enjoy the distinctiveness of the Southwest.
Feel free to pm me for more info as to our site or to have more charming banter with me.

Be safe and be happy.

A huge thank you for the information that you've shared with me!

The flights are a little more expensive than I thought they would be, though. Working on that!

I plan to flirt, banter and also contact a few of you folks that graciously responded to my topic and probably ask a few more questions.

This might be a really fun adventure!

Liz, saw that you joined our little board. SWC. Look around and check us out. I would love some feed back as to what you think about our board. Attitude, friendliness, ease of use, etc.
Also, if you need any info please pm me there on SWC or here.Though I don't check in here as frequently.
My handle is the same on SWC .

Many award winning films have been shot here. They currently filming The Avengers here in Albuquerque. The Transformer movies we're filmed in our State as well. We are starting to get the main stream attention.

Let's not forget, Virgin Galactic is building the Space Port about 3 hours south of Albuquerque. Don't remember when the opening date is, but for a cool 200g you can take trip to space.

I was ripped off by an agency there 8-9 years ago. I could not find anything on aspd so I screwed up.

I don't remember her name but in the past I chatted with a lovely lady from Santa Fe. She never made it to Dallas.

I have only seen a traveler once, as I prefer to invest mine with the locals so I can see them when the itch strikes.

Slightly off topic but... Why Albuquerque??? I mean for the story. I can't imagine the Avenger's tackling on supervillains in New Mexico.

As far a New Mexico is concerned I imagine they have some incentives for production companies to film there.

From what I gather, I hear business is pretty good out there.

I am from West Texas and have a hobbyist whom has asked me to come out that way.

I have a list of sites if needed please PM me.

LMAO!! Good question and point! Yes past couple of years, the film industry has received some very nice incentives to shoot here. Now the political clash on how much incentives should be offered is being hashed out. There was a rumor that they would pull the shoot of The Avengers and go to? Thankfully they worked out something as they are filming now! I don't remember the other comic book style films that are slotted, but they have plans of shooting 3 or 4 more soon. What I remember hearing from their crew.

Berkleigh.. when will you pay us a visit?

Default Just what New Mexico needs . .

More f'in Texans!

Elizabeth,

Dallas will serve you well, stay put -- ignorance is bliss.

True, I'm biased. Please continue to spread bad info about New Mexico and stay away whenever possible . . . makes my trips home even more fun.
