Still dry, never lost power. I lived on an island for about 18 hours on Sunday. Ventured out Saturday night to watch the fight at a friend's place. By the time the fight was over things were a little hairy. I know which streets flood first from living in the same area 10+ years so I made it home by a zig zag but dry route.
Last night after the water receded enough to get out I made another trip to deliver some crucial meds to a family that was flooded out. I didn't know the neighborhood I was going to at all, so I spent 2 hours making what would otherwise have been a 20 minute journey. I would drive as far as I felt was comfortable, and when the water looked high I would pull off in a dry spot and scout on foot. Once I was confident in a good path I would go back to the car, drive some more, and repeat. Slow but effective. Helped that it stopped raining an hour into the trip.
I'm horny as fuck, but my time and attention is needed elsewhere today.
