Sometimes now I'll sneak a peek at a civilian and wonder how she'd be as a provider. Or occasionally, in certain situations like going to get my hair cut by a female stylist, if she might actually be a provider (because I've known several providers that also work as stylists)!

I less "wonder" how a civilian will be as a provider, and more just comment mentally to myself to the effect that "Hmmmm... I'd bet she could make a good living as a stripper" or "She'd probably do well as a provider".

Then again, that's purely fantasy; there are psychological barriers that most civilian women would have to overcome before they'd be comfortable taking their clothes off in front of/having sex with complete strangers, and most of the women I make those mental comments about would probably have to be in pretty dire straits in order to overcome them.

Very nice thread! For me the hobby has changed me in lots of ways. My breast size changed along with my confidence for sure. My directions skills are pretty good, since I've had to travel to so many different places in the hobby. I try to learn something from every client, they're normally older and more experienced in life and I like to learn from them.

oh and my bedrooms skills are ten times greater than if I wasn't in the hobby. And I feel like constant good love making makes a woman glow

I started the hobby when I was 18 and I just moved out on my own. The men I've met from the hobby have taught me so much. One client in particular has helped me so much, he basically showed me how to adult (pay bills and such). I'm so thankful. I don't know where I would be if I hadn't met these men. ❤️

Vannah's foot fetish pictures post today (https://eccie.net/showthread.php?t=2075070) made me think of another: Willingness to openly admit to my fetish. Prior to being here I had told exactly one person in my entire life. One. I was ashamed of it. I'm still not 100% confident about it because there can be and have been some bad reactions at times but at least willing for it to be known now. That's a good thing, I think.

I think I posted this in another thread, but the hobby has definitely helped me be more confident with women, both when talking to them and when in bed.

It has given me a lot of confidence. More in non sex related situations, though. Like at work...I got promoted soon after I started hobbying after years of getting passed over. I attribute my newfound confidence to finally being noticed by my superiors as a leader. Not all of it came from the fact that I was so thrilled to be sleeping with hotter women than have ever looked my way, but it certainly had an impact.

I used to be really anxious too. I went like the first 3 years of my job before taking a sick day. I was always worried that something would go wrong and it would be my fault. Later I realized that despite thinking that if I busted my ass every day, that someone would reward me...that was all bullshit. So now I take half days every so often for my "appointments."

For me, it has helped get me out of my house since going through my divorce, I havent lived here long and dont know many people other than my neighbor. I became a pretty bad recluse, but the past couple weeks ive been out a few times, visited a couple women. I feel as its helped bring my confidence and self esteem up.

I started asking for what I want, including fetishes, without any embarrassment. I know it's
ridiculous but I had a hard time with this before the hobby. There is no sense spending what we do and not getting what we want, as long as our companions consent. In my experience they usually appreciate being told so they don't have to try to guess what we want. I've also gotten much better at giving specifoc directions - faster, slower, little to the left, etc.
