Although I think it's rare, it definitely does happen and this is why I keep an eye on my reviews and prefer to contact the lady for a reference vs just going off of the reviews/postings. I like parts of osd's post, especially the part about individuals who agree with what I say in principle but can't bring themselves to admit this because they can't process the delivery.

It reminds me of conversations I had with older people 20 years ago.

I used to fall into that trap as well.
