For now, I think I'll wager on The Field.

You must admit, statistically speaking, Kansas City is not overly impressive.....there's nothing they do exceptionally well, number-wise, offensively / defensively...except win.

Chief fans have been waiting quite a while to see a return trip to the SB...I wish you / them luck.

There's plenty of football remaining so much can take place between now and then, of course. Obviously you don't need any more injuries to key players (ie: most recent, LB, Derick Johnson) to hit your squad. If so, that 17% number will drop just like Pyramider's saggy ass has....
Well Winning his the most important part

If Gronks out of the playoffs the AFC will be wide open. I don't think there will be a clear favorite. The Chiefs/Raiders rivalry was one of my favorites growing up in the 60's. Replaced by the Steelers/Raiders rivalry of the 70's. Still the most brutal games that I've ever watched.

A couple of the Steelers-Ravens games were awfully brutal too. One got the impression they didn't really like each other. Siragusa, Lewis, Woodson, Harrison....

what about fred "the hammer" williamson?

one of the all time greatest segments of the highlight films by ed sabol, I think it was, was the clip of the packer players laughing and exclaiming "they broke the hammer" or was it "they got the hammer?"

I agree about the Steelers/Ravens rivalry. The most physical rivalry over the last 16yrs. Both defenses were very physical and talented. But it was a more violent game in the 70's. Less rules.

Agree with that. Less rules in the 70s, bigger, faster bodies later on. Both were brutal.

I don't either. I equate my self worth to winning arguments on the internet. Although my wife isn't totally sold on the measure, I consider myself undefeated!!!

For someone who is supposedly ignoring me you are spending a lot of time hijacking your own thread to talk about me! I thought you wanted to talk football--have you confused yourself?

KC and Miami..played on Christmas Day, 1971....still the longest NFL game ever played. Podolak, in a losing effort, recorded 350 all-purpose yards that day...a NFL playoff record that still stands today (I think).

Three weeks later the Dallas defeated those Miami 24-3 in Super Bowl VI. To date, these same Dolphins remain as the only team to be kept out of the end zone in a Super Bowl.

Those fuckers beat the Steelers on a fake punt in the playoffs on their way to 17/0. The fuckin punter played at Pitt!

Christmas Day 1971, the Chiefs hosted the Miami Dolphins in an AFC divisional playoff game. In perhaps his toughest day as a pro, Stenerud made a 24-yard field goal in the first quarter, but then missed from 29 and 32 yards, the latter with 35 seconds remaining in regulation, and had a 42-yarder blocked three minutes into overtime. The Dolphins won 27–24 in double overtime on a 37-yard field goal by Garo Yepremian. Through 2013, the game remains the longest in NFL history

I remember it well
