Love all the bureaucratic responses, but the only measurement of winning in an American Marine's mind is when you have killed them ALL, or what is left no longer has the will to fight and are on their knees begging you to stop.

We haven't won anything since Japan was kneeling before us.

I challenge any of you to point out any significant actual military conflicts that the USA lost. As you read this we still have troops in Germany, Japan, and Korea. The USSR stared the USA in the face in Cuba and backed the fuck down. Yet we still have enough Nukes in Turkey to make Russia glow for 20,000 years. I would not bet against the USA.

Why would you be mugged? I was in that war and Bush didn't finish it. At the very least Schwarzkopf should ridden an armored column down the main street of Baghdad with gun ships flying overhead providing musical accompaniment.
