I have had serious discussions about this with my lovers. One of them tried it. I adore him for trying. But women and men are wired so differently. For him, even with his above average libido, I believe his non-attraction to clients was an issue. Most men need a visual chemical trigger to their libido. He also encountered a greater range of mental instability in potential clients than I have ever heard of or experienced here.
My other hobby friend simply determined that it would be an ill-advised economical choice. He mused about escorting as a career, but like the majority of average men, he can only orgasm and maintain an erection at most once a day and thus the lifestyle seemed more an inconvenience to him than anything else. I hope he tries it anyway. If he does he probably won't tell.
