That's funny. So the Baltimore DA is basically 0 for 3 with 3 more cases to go! And this last case was supposedly their best chance at a conviction.

I doubt there was enough evidence for any charges other than a lesser manslaughter charge to even be considered.
But the knee jerk reaction on the far left and the far right is not helpful.

Lemme guess, you will stay on the plantation this next election.

The only problem with your scenario is we have six honorable, hard working police officers, who were carrying out the laws of the city, county and state, who are having their lives turned upside down by a wrongful prosecution brought forth by a overzealous prosecutor who bowed to the criminal element's demands.
Where will these officers go for "Justice"?

The other problem is Freddie Gray's "peoples" gotta CHECK! 7 digits if I recall correctly! Even before one trial took place!
Where's these officers' CHECK? Obviously the check they get for doing their job isn't worth the potential liability.

I'm sure the city is wondering why they paid 6.5 million to the Gray family in a civil suit

That is a travesty.
A boil on the butt of humanity does the world a favor by dying, and his Familly gets a big check.

Knowing Baltimore, the city isn't wondering. The expectation was someone gots to get paid. Was a civil suit actually filed yet?

It's time this country get back to quality people in office instead of "socially promoting" them like they do all the way through public schools now. But it looks like we have another "first female" up for election as the POTUS, who still needs her husband to carry the water when it comes to taking care of business in this country.
The saying "The first bite is the snake's fault, and the second one is yours" applies.
Just another wife getting "promoted" based on her husband's achievements/popularity.

Hopefully they will learn, but it is doubtful. They are committed to proving their point, and if they cannot do that, they will say the system is flawed. They cannot accept the truth, which would set them free.

The "city" is the only "one" wondering!
Did you hear the "plaintiffs' attorney" chatting about it ....before the first trial?
It was reported he got a 50% contingency.
He knows the prosecutor and her husband.

It wasn't about the "Family" getting a big check. Their lawyer, who is friends with the prosecutor and her husband, got the big check! He had it on a %! While the city is crumbling around their ankles they are passing out the taxpayers' funds like candy canes!

A city run by libs, for libs, isn't worried about how much TAX PAYER money they just " redistributed " to some of their Dindu Nuffins. Think : Detroit .

ur assuming all six officers in this case were honorable. the fact that a suspect died of spinal injuries in their custody suggests otherwise.
You have a point about the prosecutor probly going overboard by charging as many officers as they did with such little apparent evidence. but lets flip the situation here, if a white American had been arrested in say Egypt and ended up dead after a police van ride of spinal injuries. . .would you still say, well we shouldn't disrupt the lives of these honorable officers?
