Costa Rica - where to go

Most of the hookers in bars can be found in the Blue Marlin (inside Hotel Del Rey), which is 24 hours and between 7pm-2am to the Bar Key Largo next door.

The key largo doesn't usually get ramped up until 10pm when the live music starts. Some times if you wait until 1am to pick out a chica you can get a better price because often girls go home empty handed at closing time. Also, most bargirls ask for $100 but its negoitable.

There are plenty of daytime massage places, and the cost there is usually $20 to $50 for a thirty minute or one hour session (sex included no tip required). Right now the hot stops for cheap sex are Las Margaritas (night), New Fantasy (day) and La Mansion (day). Veronicas and Oasis are also pretty sweet but is a $2 cab ride.

The dongordo map is older than dirt, and out of date. CRT wants you to pay $$$ before you can see their map.

The San Jose sex guide is free and breaks the city into 6 seperate areas with lonely planet type google maps that shows every whore house, pickup bar, and massage parlor in town.

The Del Rey would seem like a good place to stay, but they charge $10 for each girl you take to the room.

Thanks for all of your suggestion. I finally returned from an extended trip to CR. WOW where to begin??? San Jose was a blast. I found most of the better ticas liked working in the dance clubs and as soon as they realized I was American the party started. Price ranged from 40-80. with on offering to stay overnight for another 20. Dollars worked better then Colons.

I also spent a couple of days in Tamarindo which in my opinion was better then SJ. I ran across everything possible plus a pair of Brazilian sister that were excellent.

Story time.

Many years ago, I was doing street scenes in the USA, and and Boys Towns in the border towns of Mexico.

Lotsa fun.

Thing is, I wasn't doing the internet thing because it wasn't available.

Then, one day, I was playing with a web browser on a computer.

For fun, in the URL field I typed in random words to see what would come up. One of those words was "paranoia."

Oh, my.


My eyes were OPENED.

I started reading The Guide.

Now, here's the thing.

I actually rarely used the WSG for finding ladies.

I found it to be absolutely, positively the BEST travel guide on the planet.

Why?

Fellahs traveling to look for ladies weren't looking to spend lotsa dough on other stuff...they were saving their cash for, well...ladies!

As a result - the WSG was the BEST place to find the deals on hotels, food, entertainment, sightseeing, you name it - and the guys that posted weren't interested in sleeping in shitholes or eating Ramen to save money for their Hobbying.

They were finding and writing about GOOD places to stay, GREAT deals on food, etc.

Sadly, the WSG grew and changed so much(I believe the founder Atta died; he disappeared, and his passing was marked by the folks that took over the site) and moved and changed its name and fragmented and whatnot(Current info here - http://www.worldsexguide.org/WSGSiteHistory.html ), that it's really not great for travel, anymore.

I hope that in the spirit of the original WSG, this thread might resurrect that aspect of The Hobby that was really special - providing valuable travel information for Hobbyists(and non-Hobbyists) who wish to "seek out new life, to boldly go where many men have gone before..."
