I don't like alcohol very much, so being a bartender would be a bad fit.
Although being a baker is unglamorous, at least I work and pay taxes, unlike Asswipe the cockstalking cocksucker.

I like the smell of Bakeries. The wharfing aroma of fresh baked brads always lures me in, lol. Keep up the good work.

It's even worse. You left out the part about how they persuaded the federal government to shovel out student loans, enabling colleges and universities everywhere to jack up tuition, room and board by 2-3 times the rate of inflation over the past 30 years! The end-result is today no one can afford to attend college without going deeply into hock before they even graduate and join the full-time work force. Total student loan debt now exceeds $1.3 trillion! By comparison, total US credit card debt outstanding is only $800 billion.
This is a national disgrace!
You would think the academics would feel a tad guilty about saddling generation after generation of students with these mountains of debt... and they do, sort of... that's why they support Bernie Sanders and other libtard candidates who promise to FORGIVE all the debt! As long as it means taxpayers take the hit! If they truly felt guilty, the colleges and universities would offer to pay off those fucking debts themselves! But nope - they don't feel THAT guilty! They lived high on the hog for decades indoctrinating students in libtard ideology, but they're not about to give anything back! Let the taxpayers pick up the tab for fixing the problems the academics have created!

They realize I am not one of "them" so, as an outsider, I must be for the opposition.
Going back to school was a real experience for me. There is a very clear system of rewards and punishments for having the "correct" opinion. (I actually had one professor actually say, we are entitled to an opinion but it muse be the correct opinion. It was mind-blowing!) Failing to agree w a professor will affect a students grades. My GPA was high enough that I actually experimented w this idea. Keeping my mouth shut always got me an A. Disagreemenet w a professor, got me a B (sometimes B-). School was easy. Very few students actually read. You just stay quiet, nod your head, and speak as little as possible. The hardest part of college was allowing the indoctrination to continue and not intervene. 4 (usually 5 or more now) years is a long time. Add grad school or a PhD program and you realize these students recieve more intoctrination than a Marine recruit.
Old guard conservative professors have all retired. Most (not all) professors think Bill Ayers and Ernesto Che Guevara are heroes. They all operate under the same principle. Society is too stupid to know what's best for it. I think it's funny that the liberal message and Trumps rants are so similar in that regard

Of course, that is a generalization, but people do grow more conservative as they mature and find that there is no free lunch, unless you are content with being a bum or a leech on society.
The term Conservative and Liberal are also too general for most in modern society. I am conservative in that I have worked hard for what I have and do not want the Government taking it from me and giving it to someone else.
But, I am liberal in that Adults should be able to live as they wish as long as they are not harming someone else or being a burden on society by their actions.

Well said. Very few people that I know have totally Conservative viewpoints or totally Liberal viewpoints.

I agree with LL. Having been to college and teaching in one, the poster is 100% correct. It's even worse behind the scenes.
One of my sons who was always in advanced classes since they had them, he is very smart, has dropped out of college and has his own business, and is going to make more money than his dad and his siblings, all of whom have professional degrees. And he loves what he's doing. The kid is going to have a great life! He supports Trump, so he's not perfect, but at least he's not a liberal.

Liberals control education and some people wonder why the dropout rate is so high?.
Of course, according to the liberal elite, it is because we do not throw enough money at it to make it better.....for the administrators that make the most.
The most worthless degree in America is anything associated with "liberal".

Making money is always nice but to me what is most important is how happy you are with your decisions. Sounds like your son is doing both. Congratulations to him. My best friend from HS is a professor of Labor Economics at a very prestigious university. Could have been a successful doctor or lawyer but chose the profession that he preferred. He has never questioned himself on that decision.

It's much worse than that. The college tuition rate has gone up 394% since 1980 which is more than four times the rate of inflation but teachers wages have not gone up as much. In fact, teachers wages are kind of flat and have been for a decade. So where is the money going? Did you know that UMKC paid $265,000 for Hillary Clinton to make a speech in KCMO? She didn't show (probably on a drunken binge) but Chelsea showed up to collect the check. Chelsea stayed long enough to talk about stains in the Oval Office carpet, going to an Ivy League school, failing in her job as an interviewer and news video producer, and marrying the son of a rich, criminal, democratic donor. I still wonder where the money is going...if you're ever in KU stop by and check out their brand new building dedicated to researching polar ice caps. A couple of times a year they take a chartered aircraft to either pole to collect samples.

You are so right. There is much more to life than money. I got pushed into accounting and law by an overbearing wife and mother. Hated every minute of it, except when I was teaching. But my wife insisted we leave the university, so back to law. The law damn near killed me. But I got out, and feel so much better. I don't make as much, but I wouldn't trade my current life for anything. Great kids, fantastic grandkids, same old wife, but we pretty much live our own lives. Hallway sex, you know. But there are pretty ladies on here when I need some attention. It's all good.

Why is it that women spend most of their married years trying to change the man and when she is done leaves because you are no longer the man she married. I suppose that is because all women are somewhat crazy.
