I do have to commend you for ingenuity, even if the motive behind the first post was a bit sneaky.
Perhaps offering to write ads, site text, proofread blog posts, etc. might be better received? I know some ladies have pretty bare bones sites because they have no idea what to put on them, and others who dread trying to come up with new text for their ads every week. Good writing skills are not something everyone has, and I bet there might be some ladies out there who would jump at the chance for some assistance with that part of the biz.

What is your PhD field? Have to know before we can quiz you.

Hopefully, I can rescue this thread...
I always think its great to watch people advance themselves with education. There are a number of people I help at my office with their education (I have two masters and a bachelors). If I can help any of you, I am great at proof reading and getting through school in general (overall GPAs > 3.9). I'm not looking to write your papers for you or take your tests, but helping with school is something I enjoy...
... and no "service exchange". You just have to get good grades...

Floridian, I don't think this was a dumb thread at all! You saw an opportunity and took a shot, absolutely nothing shameful there. This, after all, is still a transactional business where each party surrenders something of "value" and hopefully both parties receive what they perceive as an equal exchange.
I have seen some threads about computer equipment for exchange, all sorts of bartering is occurring! Unfortunately, (or fortunately for some) people don't realize the value of goods offered in all instances and thus only short change themselves in the process of giving a sound "no" when offered. Keep shopping, tweak your marketing, and you never know where you might land.
Side note, women who know how to "intellectually fuck" are the hottest ones in any room. Smart girls are HOT!!

I agree, I think its a good thread and something I definitely would've considered with my non-major undergrad courses.

No, it wasn't...I like the thread...and I love seeing Providers that are in school...makes me feel we're helping each other: I help you with your tuition, you help me with my orgasms...sounds completely fair and erotic.
