I like the idea. As I've stated elsewhere if I know a NCNS is in her track record I'm likely not going to bother. I will take into account the reason it occurred and go from there. Ms. Solaro seemed to have a flippant attitude about it which is distasteful to me. But this is a database and what are databases for other than to access information? Good suggestion BP.

The bad that results from almost all NCNS reports far outweighs any benefits. The only one I remember that had a happy ending was back on the P where one guy posted a well-worded one on Kari (a popular hottie for a long time back then). She had some history of NCNSing and flakiness, she responded and negotiated a settlement of a makeup session, and it resulted in a really hot review. It was all done in good nature. Things are different now. Here on the E, it's civility down, venality up.
Bad cases I know of led to the client getting posted up on escort blacklists, having sensitive information outed, etc. Of course, there is zero chance that the client will ever be seeing the provider he wanted to be with in the first place because she has personally banned his ass.
Instead of the "NCNS Forum", why not just call it "Shitstorm"?

Any person in a service business is going to have NCNS to some degree, and failing to communicate a potential scheduling conflict and timely notifying the other party is unprofessional and rude. From the business owner's point of view it costs time and often money, and from the customer's point of view it sets a negative tone with the business owner in the event the customer actually wants to engage the owner in business. The operative words are: maturity, respect, and consideration.
40 years ago it was more difficult to notify someone if an emergency arose. Today there is no excuse....short of a disabling accident or medical condition. If it does happen the mature and respectful approach is to reschedule the meeting as soon as possible with the person who did not show being the most fexible in the rescheduling for a date and time. Then think about "making it right" on the business end.

So far I have been NCNS by the same provider 3 times since I started hobbying, but I knew there was a good chance that I would get NCNS by her since there was a long thread about her NCNS. Well I booked with her again on her last tour here but luckily she remembered me and offered to makeup for it without me bringing up the NCNS.
I guess what I'm trying to get at is that if the lady is respectful and cares about her business she will make it up to ya. Unfortunately, there are girls out there that are like Solaro that just doesn't care as long as she continues to get calls.

I agree with you completly, but I dont think there is anything wrong with a bit of drama on this board.
Some spend hours watching soap on TV...obviously the drama is a source of entertainment for some.
I try not to partake in it, but what's wrong with a little entertainment? I think that's what makes this a community and not just a FYI board.
Just my $0.02...

KN, if there is a Web Site dedicated to Tiddly Winks, I would bet good money that there is also a good bit of Drama.
It is the nature of these Internet Web Sites to be governed by Human Nature.
And I agree. It is entertaining.

Posting guidelines would be simple: Post a NC/NS, with the provider's name and the specifics. The only response allowed would be one from the provider, then the thread would be closed.
No more endless back and forth, but a quick search for the provider's name in that forum would let a hobbyist know if NC/NS is a habit with her.
Anyone else like this idea?

This could potentially cause a lot of threads be open about the same provider NCNSing ppl. Keeping the thread open for others input if they got NCNS by the same person can make it easier for research. Also some ppl don't want to start threads because they can potentially receive backlash from their threads, however if others are chiming in it could convince the person to confess their encounter.

I agree as well. For me, the entertainment from the drama is worth it sometimes. The information we are all looking for is still there with or without the drama.

I disagree. I honestly don't care about the drama, so I won't read it.
I just want to search for a provider's name, and if I see several NC/NS reports, I won't bother scheduling with her, because my hobby time is limited, and since I'm not an AMP guy, Plan B is tough in Houston.
To me, that's valuable.

For many of us the "drama" opens a window and the view from that window makes all the difference. It could be anything from posting an alert 8.7 minutes after a NSNC, to hearing about how one was resloved with out any board drama or that post often quoted in this thread

I'll see yall soon!

She is a flake which wouldn't stop me from seeing her, but the 2x NSNC coupled with the above response would. We love the folks that hate the "drama" only because we know they are usually the first ones reading it... just sayin'
In our opinion while this seems like a sound idea, what we have works and this notion of a simple database to guide one's hobby experience is interesting and appealing but unrealistic.

The problem with this is when drama is on EVERY thread. Something that starts off simple ends up being turned into a big pile of shit. Yes there's always going to be drama but it gets ridiculous when internet drama turns into real life drama.

Those of you desperate for a SHMB without drama or passion, there is a graveyard full of dead ones over the last decade. If someone would point to that mythical unicorn of a Dallas coed that really runs that way, we would be most interested in studying it.
While it may seem that I'm picking on mojojo that is not even close to being true, actually the opposite. We have money, sex and competition ~ that is never a recipe for the tranquil exchange of ideas. I understand exactly what he wants, as posted by Jackie S, that is a challenge on a board debating the merits of tiddlywinks, nearly impossible on one discussing the best bbbj ever.
Trying to fine tune that drama level, is not for the faint of heart or the unskilled cat herder, if it was easy and this is a tip of Father Wayward's head to all of the staff here ~ anyone could do it. It isn't and they can't.
It wouldn't hurt if a little more often we took a moment to thank the folks that actually have to deal with us.

Blowpop, I understand what you meant now - I had thought you were wanting to promote some kind of fucktard/hooktard fight club.

Syncial, I like the way you think.. mentioning a NCNS in a thread or a review is not bad taste at all, but to initiate thread(s) to berate or embarrass her is one thing. If you had done that, it is likely that you would've gotten the outcome you did. A part of being a good provider is TCB, and a good provider will recognize that and act accordingly. That fact that you understood that sometimes things like this happens and moved on, didn't take it too personally, and tried again later says a lot about your character. Not trying to say at all that a hobbyist shouldn't be pissed about it or not start a thread to stimulate conversation and inform others, just the piling on seems extreme to me.
Here's a NCNS thread without the malice, drama, or ill will on a great and beautiful provider.
http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=132833
I would like to say publicly though, Big Joe, I apologize if I offended you in any way. My responses were those about to situation in general, not an attack on you. My intention was not to belittle your experience, regardless of how you handled it. I went back and read that thread in it's entirety, and that last remark was not called for, even if that's how she felt. Perhaps it was a way of saving face. So again, all apologies BJ, and good luck in the future.

At the very least it'd stop all this fucking nonsense about "you should have waited longer before posting an alert" or "this isn't really alert worthy since she hasn't reponded" or "NC/NS should not be alerts."
If a NC/NS happens, it gets posted, and it can possibly get resolved in the resulting thread without all the arbitrary alert/no alert bullshit...
