Presumably you refer to Guideline #5:
#5 - Outing or threats of outing are taken seriously. Membership here is anonymous and for the privacy of our members it will remain that way.
That means any effort or attempt to connect a person's real world information to their username on this board will be dealt with swiftly and harshly. This includes real names, employment, medical info, addresses past or present, images, criminal or driving record, etc. We expect everyone who participates here to respect and go to great lengths to protect the anonymity and privacy of one another. Reckless disregard or accidental outing will also be taken very seriously.
Because the post in question made no attempt to connect a member's account to real world information, there is no violation.
I believe the error ztonk makes is because he fails to realize that everything listed after "This includes" becomes a subset of the bolded statement, and thus governed by those conditions. So there is no violation in listing a "real name, employment, medical info, address," etc., if there is no attempt to connect such information to a member's account.
"John Smith of 123 Main Street was busted for solicitation" is not outing. "John Smith of 123 Main Street was busted for solicitation = JohnnyYanks," would be outing (if my name was John Smith or I lived at 123 Main Street).
This guideline is written very clearly and how it could be so grossly misunderstood by a seasoned moderator might be its own topic for discussion.
