JS42 - I also respect your position on this, but I'm not going to be one who thinks that, just because someone has signed up for mod squad duties, he/she gives up their right to express their own opinion on a subject. I certainly read his post as "this is what I think", rather than a "speaking for the admin staff" comment. Perhaps if it would have been better if he prefaced his statements by saying "taking my mod hat off for a minute"...?

And of course a mod has opinions on things, but it doesn't equate to a mod having to post it. Many of us hobbyist are fully aware of the pimps behind these girls, so if a hobbyist had brought it up, I wouldn't have a problem with it. I just think a mod should be more hands off and moderate when needed to and not interject oneself unless a poster is being disrespectful or hijacking a thread. That's my only issue here. Again, I like Scorpio and think he has turned into a good mod, and you and I are on the same page on the pimp shit, even if we disagree on how it was brought up here.

And with respect JS, I disagree with you. Some of us have had first hand experience dealing with "management" (and the aftermath that they leave some gals lives in) and Scorpio's comnents are well in line, and frankly, rather light, and restrained. So kudos to him.
For my part, which encompasses more than some of the hotel stories I've l bored everyone with, I'll just say that my comments have been what I consider light as well the last few months, as I simply would not go nuclear on the board (ignoring that some of my comments a few months ago were a warning that I was about to toss a nuke).
Gemma called it as it is.

Based on the reviews posted so far I'd say that she found a place.

just because you say "not a wk", doesn't make it true.
and also, i wish there was an icon for managed providers.

Look anyone who has been in the hobby long enough has seen a managed provider at some time or another....whether they liked it or not.
And not to get started on that whole topic again...I believe Admins policy is it aint goin away and there is that element of we all have assholes (opinions)
We can try to self police pimps, managers all we want...but its here to stay
In no way do I advocate it so dont twist the words...but its part of the life and no matter how you fight it.
My belief is Scorpio has every right to his opinion ...mod or not and as someone who has never been in that position I have no idea whether admin has a policy on that...but my gut tells me they could care less.

Imho, Scorpio is one of the better mods we've had here during my tenure as a member. He is reasonable and reasoned in enforcing the guidelines of the site and does a good job of "herding the cats". I also believe that the majority of guys here share a common distain for "management". Scorp was merely sharing his opinion (which he has a right to do), and doing it in a quite gentlemanly fashion, actually. Just my opinion.

Just 'cuz he wasn't polite about it doesn't mean it wasn't accurate.
Being a mod means you have to show restraint sometimes, not surrender your balls.

off topic?
I think the arthropod's comments are very well tied into the request for hotel advice. MM asked for help on this, but since the manager is the one who makes decisions, any help would actually go to him and for his benefit. To point that out I think is very pertinent to the whole thread.

Say there guy;
have you ever asked a lady something like this: this is a very nice room, the hotel must give you a discount to use it so often; what do you have to pay for a room like this?
And then, she doesn't have a clue! So who pays for the room?

Well, that is quite a thought, might even be true somewhere..
Unless of course
1) She reserved/paid for the room with a credit/debit card.
2) In conversations with her management she actually learned what the room cost.
3) Having stayed in hotels on a number of occasions she just happens to know about the going rate and throws out a # from experience.
4) She has a savvy pimp who has trained her how to answer stupid questions from nosy clients.
To be fair, your theory could work if she would happen to be unconscious..

There is a fictional character on the show King of the Hill, named Dale Gribble. He's an expert in just about every conspiracy there is. Yet somehow he never notices the guy whose nailing his wife every day, right under his nose.

Speaking of "nailing" it.
I couldn't help but notice that he fled from the thread in alerts and moved over here. I guess the debate there got a bit too advanced..
I wonder if he thought to ask LC what she paid for the room?

The dumbest part is he's schooling Golard...because his interpretation of Golard's post is, per usual, the exact opposite of reality.
