A lot of people play games on here. Both men and women. If you turn a guy down or accidentally hurt his ego in some way, he may very well chase you around the boards and use any opportunity to bash you outright or more insidiously.
Let's not even get started on the girl drama. You make one wrong choice and your name and rep is tarnished. Women are way more cruel and catty than men are.... well some.
You just have to ignore it. "Your enemies will never believe you, so it's best not to even explain yourself." The intelligent will see through most of the smear campaigns. If they don't, it's their loss. A lady can't win. If she has W's she will get bashed more. Let it die. If you try to help, you'll only fan the fire. Just let those girls know what you think of them and offer encouragement.
This is my opinion after having gone through some of this with some of the ladies and men errr miserable unhappy jealous people. Just ignore the negative. Like attracts like, I think. That's what gets perpetuated.
