Something similar had happened to me once. I did get a quick text that said something like ... "I am dealing with an emergency. I will call you later." And later I got the call and an explanation and a discount was offered.

We played hide the salami a few days later and I paid full price. The lady was very appreciative. She doesn't do short notice calls for many, but she will for me.

Real world life happens. Be understanding about it if you can. If you can't, just move on quietly.

I think the OP is probably upset that Alison had stuff come up twice in a row. Again, real world life happens, sometimes back to back.
